What is the format? Is this a single-elimination tournament, or a battle royal, or what?

I'm gonna go with Austin Aries... Give him a nice reward for returning

What is the format? Is this a single-elimination tournament, or a battle royal, or what? Looks like last year it was 6 singles matches with the winners going to a 6 man elimination match. I may need to use this format for my next Survival of the Fittest PPV.

I'm going with Chris Hero. Delirious won the last SOTF if I remember properly, and Aries can't really get any more over in ROH. Of the other four guys, I think that Hero's a guy who they could really get behind and give a good push to. I like Albright as a dark horse, too.

I went with Albright actually. Hero has been losing a lot and I think he will continue to until he parts ways with Sweeney eventually. Claudio won the last tourney, Delirious won the last SOTF, Aries doesnt need it after subbing Danielson (plus I think theyll match them up round one). Albright could use the bump to get back into title contention

I'm going to wait and see who else is announced for the tournament before I decide. That's only half of the participants revealed so far.

I eliminated all the guys who've won it already as SOTF does seem to be about someone stepping up their game and getting some extra push, not the same person winning it. So that left me between Hero and Albright. Albright's probaby the one most in need of a push so I'm going with him.

went with Hero..think he needs a big win to get back in the title discussion. Aries and Strong have shined in the past in this format so I expect a good showing.

I think Hero's got this one. Im not that big of a fan but he has been in a slump so it could freshen things up a bit. Hero vs McGuinness for ROH title could be fun.

With less than a week to go, so far Austine Aries has the most predictions with 4 votes while Chris Hero and Brent Albright are tied with 3.

Hey BDS, You and hofclemens and gamemaster and anyone else who picked Chris Hero to win Survival of the Fittest tonight were correct! The finals came down to Hero and Claudio and, although I correctly expected Hero to win, I was hoping Claudio would win tonight's tournament. A really awesome main event and when it came down to Claudio vs Hero most of the crowd was also pulling for Claudio with chants "Lets go Clauido" that they traded back and forth with some guys who then chanted "Lets go Hero." Hero and his manager are a couple of great heels who won a kick a*s wrestling tournament tonight!
