who else would he face? There's not one credible non-big guy heel to challenge him for the belt right now since Orton is still suspended.
Rey is not that credible against them though. Maybe he's just building them up so that Batista can destroy them all when he comes back?

They've used him in a wonderful way. What a pleasure it is to see him get his a** kicked time and time again. That's what you get for "P-Diddying" your way to the top, using your buddy's death as a tool to only help yourself.

Does it have to be an heel ? . Its scripted anyway so why not Finlay , Matt Hardy , Animal , (Friends match , give your best friend a title shot) Beniot or Chav etc

Rey getting destroyed in non title matches by big talentless monsters ruins it for me.

I don't think they've done a very good job. It's weird to see the champ lose as often as he has.
I realize they are playing the "size of the fight in the dog" card. But I haven't really gotten into his run at all. Kind of boring IMO.

Angle is a wrestling machine and would not have lost any momentum losing to Rey going to ECW. Mark Henry is not supposed to be the unstoppable monster that Kahli is. His character is simply know for injuring people. What this has done is make Rey look like a champion that only wins when the title is on the line. While that's okay for a heel champ, I don't like that approach for a babyface champ. JMO!

I don't have any problem with him beating big guys but his entire run as champ shouldn't be against big guys. It should be a good chance to move some smaller statured guys up the ranks a little.
