This is a hard question. There are strong points for both choices. But my personality would rather be a big fish in a small pond. I have a need to feel like I am making a difference in the company I am working for in terms of it's success. I want to be able to have valuable input in the direction that the company goes. It would be hard to have that kind of input as a small fish in a big pond. So I would choose to swim in the smaller pond and feel like I was making a significant contribution to the life of that pond.

Not changing my opinion, but that's because I like anonymity.

I would rather be the Brooklyn Brawler instead of Samoa Joe, and not to point out that Brawler is the more popular of the two but who's pointing fingers

Small fish in a big pond I think is slightly more desirable as you may eventually have the chance to move up and be the big fish in the big pond.
