I say HHH is easily the greatest NWA Champion of all-time...
but Angle and Flair are close seconds...

I'm going with Kurt Angle! He's the man, what a great NWA Champ!
HHH and Flair right behind him.

My vote goes to the immortal Shane Douglas who held the NWA title for all of 14 seconds.

This is cute. Is this something you do everytime you're called out on your ignorance? You spout off some unintelligable thought, and when somebody calls you out on it, you turn it into a complete joke and have a laugh with your buddies?
I don't know what motives you have for your behaivor. Maybe you just like pissing people off. Maybe you like making your friends here laugh. Or hell, maybe you actually do believe that Christian Cage is not the NWA Heavyweight Champion. In any case, it doesn't matter much to me. Myself, and anyone who's had a long term interest in pro-wrestling know what is fact, and what is the mindless trolling from people desperate for attention.
Oh, and I vote for Ron Garvin all the way.

Jeffrey Scott Jarrett. (I'm guessing at his middle name. Scott sounds about right.)

I think its awesome that you spend that whole thread pitching a fit about Swarm's attitude and his general lack of respect for the history of pro-wrestling and then vote for arguably the worst champion in NWA history. Read any book about that era (Death of WCW most recenlty). The NWA literally lost millions of dollars the moment they put it around Garvin's waist and they couldn;'t take it off of him fast enough. As a matter off act, I believe Ro n lost the title back to Flair in his very first title defense. So unless you're taking the pi ss, then your post is thick (THICK!) with irony.

Remember the Ronnie Garvin story back in 87. He claimed when he would win the title, he would be a "working mans" champion. But as soon as he won it, he went into a two month hiatus to train for the Starcade bout!
What a waste that was...
Starcade 87, IMO opinion, was the PPV that probably crippled JCP. First, the WWF countered with the 1st Survivor Series, which they threatened other cable companies that if they showed any other PPVs besides the WWF's, they wouldn't be allowed to show any other WWF PPVs, thus taking a lot of $$$$$$ out of the cable companies pockets.
Two, giving the belt to Garvin when you had young and hungry up and comers like Windham, Koloff etc waiting in the wings.
The complete burial of the UWF.
Holding the PPV out of the Southern/Mid Atlantic region and having it at the run down UIC Center in Chicago. Plus, screwing the fans in Chicago who were hoping to see their "hometown" team, The Road Warriors win the NWA Tag Titles, but win on a DQ against Tully and Arn
A complete bust of a PPV and the downfall of Crocket promotions...

Exactly what I was talking about. Garvin was maybe the worst chapion ever that wasn't a movie personality.r
