I'm a professional web designer and have been for over 9 years.....but I think it's kind of bad form to diss the official website and broadcast a comp that Tom may or may not have considered back in February. If Tom wanted it to be the official new look, it would be right now.
Sure, it looks okay....but other than a pat on the back, what's the point?

Uh, is this just a sample of what the new filsinger games website could look like? The actual site changed a bit last week (adding the colored versions of Endgame, Sly, and Monolith), but pretty much looks the same as it always has. Yeah we are not talking about the pretty pictures added to the site!!! Click on this link to see the design that I proposed to Tom back in Feb. the home page looks the same basically but I am web designer so I look for lots of cool bells, whistles, graphic art....

I am also a professional web designer since 1999, art director, semi pro photograher and illustrator since 1990, but I was not trying to dis the site in any way! I also wanted it to look somewhat like the COTG so you would not think your on the wrong site or something. I just wanted to put together a sample and get some feedback but maybe I shouldnt have said anything. Did not mean to start a debate or disrespect the current site. Just thought we could get the ball rolling on a new site if I work on it or not I figured it would only benefit the game players thats all. PS. Not looking for a pat on the back. Kevin K |

The current site is ugly. Kevin's design looks cool and fresh.
I think a new site that has new features is necessary and would even help sales.

There are already plans in place for not only a new look Champions site, but a new look Legends site, and a new look Filsinger Games general site (which will act as the main portal for COTG, LOW, and COTGonline sites as well as feature info about Tom's book, his Stan Lee project, etc).
I'd say to look for the redesigns sometime later this year, possibly early '08.
