Who would win a match between these two in their prime?
I say Brett in a 5 star match

I say Bret Hart. The Excellence of Execution was one of the best wrestlers of all time. I really liked Steamboat but Hart was one of the best of all time. I don't think you can say that for Steamboat.

Too close to call. They were both truly great technical wrestlers, with great stamina and ring savvy.

Ironically, I just watched Steamboat wrestle Bret Hart in a match on Bret Hart's recent dvd release. Although I don't think Bret Hart was quite in his prime just yet at that time (although I still think he was awesome as half of the Hart Foundation- my personal all-time favorite tag team of those that never spent a day in the NWA or WCW or any other major fed than the WWE), it was stil a great match that Steamboat won only after reversing a strong pin attempt by Bret Hart.
Yet, Steamboat in the mid to late 1980s vs Bret Hart in the early to mid 1990s, that's what Kronos is for. But personally, I would go with the best there is , the best there was, and the best there ever will be.

I think Hart would have a definite technical advantage but Steamboat would have his speed and martial arts abilities so I gave Steamboat the edge.
