I'm a mark for Eaton and Lane since I watched them since their beginning and am a huge Cornette fan..so I had to choose them.
But it's a hard choice. Gosh, I miss tag team wrestling

The Midnight Express was one of the all-time great tag teams. Multiple time World and U.S. Tag Team Champions. They were one of the best!!!!!
The Steiners Brothers could have been the greatest team ever if they stayed together and stayed healthy.
The British Bulldogs are another team that could have gone on to a great career if it were not for injuries.
I know I am in the minority, but I do not consider the Road Warriors the greatest tag team ever. To be the best, you have to be a great champion. Yes, the LOD won all three major tag team titles, but they were never dominate champions. I seem to remember them having very short reigns as Champions. Now granted, the LOD had some very big bulls eyes on their backs and everyone was gunning for them. But I do not remember them as being dominant Champions. I seem to remember them as chasing the titles more than actually defending them.

I voted for the Midnight Express. It should be noted, however, that the Freebirds had probably as much impact on pro wrestling as any tag team, with the exception of the Road Warriors.
