Just wondering how often do you tag in and out during tag matches ? . Me = If its a normal tag team every 5 offensive moves . Not a normal team (1 I have put together) , its when then land on level 1 offence (after the match has started) .

I just go by "feel". I try to visualize the match playing out, and "go with the flow..."

No set pattern

When playing with others, no set pattern.
When playing at home, I only do tags out on defense, and only if your tag partner has the same or less damage tokens than you do. The house rule is to roll 2 dice and add any fatigue tokens. If the result is 7 or higher, you make the tag. If not, your opponent stops you from making the tag.

I think I agree with the popular opinon no set pattern. If a guy hits a big move and doesnt get the pin I may have him tag out.If a guy has been on defense for a bit and gains control I usualy don't have him tag the 1st chance he gets. I guess feel like it may take him a move or two to get in the spot to make a tag.

Depends on fatigue. I try to keep the fresher guy in the match as often as possible. If both guys are equally fresh, I will tag if I feel one guy has been in too long. No set pattern, just going with the flow of the match.

Generally...
I tag when an opportunity presents itself and the in-ring wrestler has a higher PIN than the tagging wrestler...
OR
if the other team is on Level 3 defense and the tagging wrestler has 1 or more tag finishers.

No set pattern here. I try to go by the flow of the match. Unlike London & Kendrick this past Friday, it doesn't make sense to have guys tag in and out after ONE offensive move....or to have a team tag out after receiving one minor attack. It's my opportunity as promoter to determine how teams are doing and what style they have either offensively or defensively. Or, those times Monolith tags with Master Race, I have him never tag out once he gets in Seems to fit his persona.

I tag when it feels appropriate.

No set pattern for me either. About the only hard rule I use for tagging is that a wrestler will try to tag out as soon as possible after he gets a pin token unless his partner is already carrying sigificantly more pin tokens.

I tag when it feels appropriate. Word. To further elaborate if there are two feuding opponents in the tag match they may be more apt to tag in when either of the other is in the ring. Stuff like that.

I just go by the feel of the match. I try to keep it realistic.
If a guy has a lot of tokens, he won't be in as much because I assume his partner realizes he's not in great shape - but I still have him come into the match when appropriate.

Feel of the match here too. Same as Payback with the tokens as well. ON a side note, I never knew about the tag partner token recovery thing until recently and still haven't implemented it. Do you guys use that rule?

If a wrestler is on offense he can tag anytime. i do not allow a defensive unless they acually roll tag. this works pretty well and it's the most realistic method i could come up with.

No real set pattern, but if someone has been beaten down for a while they'll usually tag out at the first opportunity. Most ended up being played the same way. Some teams though, end up with different personality's: Twin Blood and Divided we Fall ended up being "strategy teams" where Dreggs or Bloodline would start the match then Sleeze and Encubus would come in when the opponent was down. The Ninja Assassins and CrossCurrents tend to tag a lot more than most teams. The Guardians tagged more rarely than most.

No set pattern, on offense depends on how well the wrestler in the ring is doing damage wise. Defense on Level 3 Offense most of the time they'll try to tag out.

No pattern, but I do make a wrestler stay in for at least three offensive moves before being able to tag out (unless a move is followed by the (tag) option)
Also, never liked the tag out 2-6 to be successful, since someone who was "down" would have a harder time tagging than someone "dazed".
My house rules are (if tag partners team regularly, if not, subtract 1 from roll) 1) dazed - 1 (tag) is successful on 2-6 2) hurt - 2 (tag) is successful on 2-5 3) down - 3 (tag) is successful on 2-4
I also have a rule that even if the tag was successful, I don't think the partner should automatically come in on offense. If the tag is successful, I roll one die:
Even - Partner takes over on offense against opponent Odd - Opponent continues on the attack against the partner who tagged in
I do allow one "hot tag" per match where a partner can roll a 2-7 (on any level) and the partner automatically comes in on Level 2 Offense.

I got with the "feel of things" approach.
