I voted the sports team once....the pipe dream of a Milwaukee Brewers championship being foremost on my mind
Although the less pipe-ish dream of a Packer Super Bowl championship is A-OK in my book too.

First off I am very impressed with this poll. You are a pretty reserved guy Mark and this is a bit out there...I like it. So I voted "I hate everything 'cause I'm a pessimistic loser" because I do hate everything. At least everything outside of the world I choose to surround myself with. See, most of the world, in my experience, is really fucking stupid. And stupid sh*t and stupid people annoy the hell out of me. I don't find you "funny" or "cute" or "confused" I find you stupid, and I hate you even more for taking up a moment of my valuable time. Some of that is my fault. When I see simple sh*t being glossed over by the masses on a daily basis it annoys me. I have very little faith in human kind, and very little faith in much of what most of the world thinks and says. I pick and choose who I want to be friends with...who I want to work with and who I don't. If you are my friend I love you and would do anything for you. In you I have faith, but you're also part of a very small group. If I hate you you'll fucking know it and I don't care. So for the most part I guess I'm a pessimistic loser stuck with an optimistic soul, as I pretty much keep my world and everyone in it real cool and comfortable, while hating everyone and everything outside of it, mostly because, like I said, you're really fucking stupid. And it always worked for me. So I'm cool with it. Anyone who knows me - this is not news. Great poll. |

Close second to your sports team winning the championship, but sleeping in happens for sure every week(or just about every week). It gives you something good to look forward to each and every week.
Doritos are amazing, though.

I voted sports team. I am a huge Duke fan, and my favorite sports memories as a kid are almost all related to them in the Final Four.
Well, and Christian Laettner in the Elite Eight...

It was a toss up between sleeping in and the Sports Team Championship. Sleeping in isn't much of an option any more, so I had to go with the later.
I barely remember the 1986 Mets championship, but I was so rivited by the 2006 NLCS and 2000 World Series, that the anticipation for that championship is so strong, that the end result would have to be the best.

One of my life's highlights was attending the 1990 World Series game 2 where the Reds beat the A's in the "Billy Bates" game.
I'll also never forget the rush when the Buckeyes beat Miami to win the BCS championship.
Give me the sports championship by a nose over sleeping in. GALACTICON is a close third!

with the emotional connectivity i put into my teams...i had to vote them winning a title is the best. Playing on a team that wins a title is also GREAT! I will tell you though, eating Doritos (cooler ranch) while looking at a hot chick (my wife!) is right up there.

I voted for the sports team winning the championship. The Blue Jays have won 2 world series now if the St.Louis Blues could take home Lord Stanleys Cup I would be a happy, happy man.
