I personally dont know what to think... I am not sure if they will mesh well together...

Even with AI, I can't see them beating Phoenix, SA or Dallas, barring major injuries...
The have a medicore shooting guard with attitude issues and an EXTREMELY fragile frontcourt... how well can Camby and Nene really hold up all year, never mind in a series against the likes of Duncan, Amare and Dirk...
I see them as the 4 or 5 seed, playing someone like LA or Min in the first round and winning, then getting killed by one of the three teams I mentioned above.

I think this trade should put Denver past Minnesota to win their division and past the Jazz in the Western Conference Standings. But I still think that San Antonio and Phoenix (and probbaly also Dallas) are better.

reread my above post stephen. Oh yeah, I agree with you about that. But on paper, I think the Nuggets are still at least behind the Spurs and the Suns in the West.

I say they make a big run in the playoffs. I think San Antonio is getting a little older and slower while Denver now has 2 of the most explosive players in the NBA.
I still like Dallas and Phoenix in a 7 game series but I think Denver can upset anybody now.

Allen Iverson is, and always has been, my favorite player in the NBA since Jordan retired. Love him. Go Nuggets.

The Knicks suck and are going to suck for a long time. On Boston, he may have had a better chance to reach the finals vs. landing in the West...nonetheless, I like the fit and look forward to the rest of his career on Denver.

I think this is a trade that could turn out well for both teams. Denver increases its chances of making a run in the playoffs by adding Iverson (who benefits himself by going to a contender).
Also, since they are rebuilding, I think this could be a decent trade for Philly. They get a good point guard in Miller (who I think is still 3rd in the league in assists), an expiring contract in Joe Smith to give them increased cap room flexibilty in the summer, and 2 more First Round picks in next June's draft which is supposed to be deep.

Iverson tonight had 28 points and 13 assists as he got his first win with the Nuggets by defeating Boston.

I wonder how many points Iverson will get on Tuesday when he plays his old team Philadelphia. I really would not be surprised if he scores 40 or 50.
