Could Dusty Rhodes win the presidency?

Man, I am soo glad everyone else is a Rhodes Scholar and all got an A++++++++++++ in their public speaking class! Everyone should be commended.

Nearly all of the males on my father's side, and yes including me, all have had bad speech and have had to work hard at it to correct it. I have to talk in front of managers at work and I'm always going over in my mind "Am I going to be able to really pronounce this word or will I stumble?" Not very fun.

But I guess we're all just dumb.

Or my four year old. The squirt is sharp as a tack, but his speech development is well behind. Nothing on our part...that's just him. He loves playing with other kids, but I've actually seen him get a tad frustrated at not being able to communicate as well with other kids his own age and that's not a good feeling as a parent. We're at a realization that he's going to have to go to speech therapy to help him along in that development, much like I did in elementary school.

But I guess he's just dumb.



I'm sure this was ignored by most media outlets, but I remember Kerry proudly proclaiming himself so much smarter than the "dumb" Bush, but refused to release anything to back it up.

About a year after the election, and granted it may be a bad example because college is the single most biggest scam in the world, but a report came out that Bush's grades were higher than Kerry's.

I believe Kerry was referring to a poll that was done on who the US citizens thought was more intelligent. It didn't matter anyways because at the same time a study of the Iraq war said that "Intelligence was bad"

Seriously though, if Dusty did speak perfectly none of us would have loved him as much as we do!

I don't think any of us were trying to rag on people as a whole who have bad speech. Just two public figures for s**t's and giggles.
