It's tied!
The Dodgers and the Padres are now tied for first as both teams have the same record of 86-74 with two games left to be played!
It appears likely that both teams will make the playoffs as they both also have a 2 game lead over the Phillies for the wild card spot. I think, at worst, either the Dodgers or the Padres would have to play a one game playoff against the Philies if either of them lose both of their remaining games and if the Phillies win on both Saturday and Sunday.

The Dodgers and the Padres both won today. Both teams clinched playoff spots but remain tied for the NL West lead going into the final day of the regular season.

i had been holding off on posting in this until the Dodgers had secured a spot in the Playoffs and man am i excited to by a Dodger fan right now! They are playing some great baseball...i am so looking forward to the playoffs!!!
THE DODGERS ARE BACK IN THE PLAYOFFS! THE DODGERS ARE BACK IN THE PLAYOFFS! I got to see them play twice last week here in Colorado...Wednesday night and Thursday afternoon...I live and die with these guys...and right now I am LIVING HIGH! Here's to a great Playoff Run!
