its been a long time since i called that avengers number that i saw in one of their special magazines. i wonder if the number still works?last time i called that number i was ten and the voice on the other end sounded like it was Hawkeye i think he said "Avengers HQ whats the emergence?do we need to send an team out?whats your location..." i never hung up a phone so fast in my life out of fear!!!!hahaha being a kid was great for me.

If you mean of all time, I'd have to take the New Warriors, with Force Works/Avengers West Coast (I know, I'm the only one) a close second.
As to right now? I have read much post civil war and one year later, but I'd have to say Runaways.

I say the Fantastic 4.
I was never too into comics but I always bought the ones with these guys.
I loved The Thing as a kid. A man made out of rock was awesome to me when I was 7 yrs. old.

My favorite superhero group was the New Warriors (Night Thrasher, Firestar, Marvel Boy/Justice, Speedball, Namorita, Turbo, and the man called Nova.) I know it was an old post, but nice use of the past tense. BOOM! ;D Big Time |

Still old, but hey... The Infinity Watch...The most powerful team ever...Bar none...If you can think of a stronger team, then the Watch can add Thanos and lay waste to any who oppose them...  EDIT: Oh yeah, and if they're STILL getting the beats from someone, like say, Sentry or Superman, or Gladiator for example, Warlock can just turn the Soul Gem on them... Mr. Fantastic: "Where'd Warlock get this orb?"
Pip: "He said Eternity gave it to him."

Pip: "No, but only a fool argues with a guy that can steal your soul."[/color] ;D Here's a breakdown, because well, I love the Watch... Adam Warlock: Like Captain America, Mr. Fantastic and Doctor Strange combined...Also see: Soul gem... Moondragon: With the Mind Gem she Psi-Blasted Professor X into a coma...Yes, she put the most powerful psychic on Earth into a coma with a Psychic Attack... Gamora: A better fighter than Wolverine...What more do you need..? Proof..? She knocked out the Thing with a single nerve blow...THE THING..!!! He's made of rock for Hezmana's sake..!! Drax the Destroyer: Stronger than the Hulk (at the time), totally indestructable...not virtually, totally...As long as he had the Power Gem, he never got hurt once...Endless stamina, immortality, a bottomless pit of energy that he can draw from to make his ridiculously powerful energy blasts even MORE ridiculously powerful...yeah, the downside is he's dumb as a post... Pip the Troll: The weak link..? Sure...But he can teleport undetected to anywhere in any universe...Has Nightcrawler, or Gateway, or even Lockjaw ever teleported into Death's realm..? No...Didn't think so.. Thanos: Not really a member, but he has an obligation to Warlock to defend the Reality Gem...if the rest of the Watch is allowed to fall, The Universe goes down the tubes...Thanos doesn't let that happen, so when things get too much for the Watch, Thanos jumps in...I don't need to go into what he can do.. |
