My Golden Falcons took another notch in the win column today while knocking off the Allegheny Limestone Gators 48 - 8. It was kind of boring for me since we put the 2nd string in in the 2nd quarter.
If the 1st string would have stayed in we probably would have beat em by one hundred.

Pro football is #1. I'll watch just about any sport that's on TV (of the najor 4 - football, baseball, basketball, and hockey). College football too.
Matt, how can you say that basketball is not a sport. It involves running, and shooting a ball into a 10ft. high basket. Uhhhh....I think that qualifies. Now if you said, golf or bowling wasn't a sport, you could make an arguement.
Matt all I gotsta say to you is......................................
DDEEEEEEETROOOOIIIIIIIITTTT BASKETBALLLLL!!!!!!!

Overall, I would have to say that baseball is my favorite sport to watch and follow. During the summer, I almost always have a game on my tv going while I'm playing COTG.
But although baseball is my favorite overall sport to follow, my favorite time of the year in terms of sports is March when the NCAA tournament takes place. I also really like Championship Week in March when all the college basketball conference tournaments are taking place as teams try to win a spot in the NCAA tournament.

It was kind of boring for me since we put the 2nd string in in the 2nd quarter. If the 1st string would have stayed in we probably would have beat em by one hundred. Yeah, but you gottta let the second string guys get in when they can. Just remember they are also out there practicing with you, helping you be successful on first string! As for my favorite sports, I am a casual hockey and profootball fan. As I grew up in New York, I am a NY Ranger fan, and now that I live in NC, I also follow the Carolina Hurricanes. As for football, I have been a Miami fan since 1984 (I was seven and I liked Dan Marino), and the Buccaneers (started during the good old Orange and white years). If I truly follow any sport it would have to be MMA, mainly the UFC because I have never seen Pride.

Last night, they had basketball on 4 different channels and no hockey. What the @#$# is that about? And I know it's going to get worse with all the football "bowls" coming up in the next month or so. How about putting some real sports on!
I appoligize if I insulted fans of football, basketball. etc. I'm just p!$$ed that I waited over a year for NHL and it comes on every 2 weeks while all the other "sports" are on every single night!
Take care,
Jay

I'll take a stab:
Golf: Tough to say. There really isn't that much physicially involved. Grown men and women hitting a ball with a stick and walking up to it to do it again. Sometimes not even walking, but riding carts. If you made it some sort of battle to get to the ball to hit it again, I'd say yes. IE, Add some football style tackling, or perhaps some other carts crashing into yours Demo Derby style. I'd watch that in a heartbeat. Final Verdict: No
Figure Skating: Stylish Hockey without the Puck. Pretty physical, and difficult to master. As much a sport as Chess, I'd call it a "game" other than a sport.
Bowling: Depends on the level of bowling. A world level tournament? I'd say yeah. A drunken friday night at the Bowl-A-Rama? I'd say that's just fun. "F*ck it Dude, lets go bowling.."
Table Tennis: I can't take anything called "Ping Pong" seriously. I'd say no. Very little possibility for serious injury. As much fun as Tennis in a smaller size. and without the hot little skirts.
Darts: We are talking serious injuries here! (Thanks George C.) Not much physically needed to play. Only 7 feet away from the board. Can still be played (sometimes better) after several drinks. I'd say No officially. Unless we are talking about Lawn Darts. RUN M'F'er RUN!!
Billiards: Extended Bowling. As with darts, can be better after drinking. Not much physically involved, but I knew I should have payed better attention in Geometery. Officially, I'd say no to this being a sport. Unless you welch on a bet to a guy named Vito "the Bull" Then there is lots of running, ducking, and possibly boxing thrown in. Then I'd say it turns in to the olympics, so that'd be a yes. As a matter of fact, don't play Billards against anyone with a "the anything" middle name. Unless its like Benny "the nice guy" or something.
Ballroom Dancing: Uh, no.
Dog breeding: That depends... Dogs are pretty fast and... oh. Nevermind. I just made myself a little sick... Sorry, bad taste.
Thanks...J[/quote]
