I gotta go with the GWF, obviously.
I think I am enjoying 2122 more than any set before it, and MONOLITH is easily my favorite character in years.

All of the feds have very strong points, but the GWF is the best all-around.

I really can't vote on this yet, haven't started GWFZ or CPC, but I do love GWF and aCe currently. Only wish there was more time to play each.

I guess I'm the odd man out, I went with CPC. I just like Mark's writing style and the way he writes makes the characters stronger. If he didn't write them the way he does, the CPC wouldn't be my favorite as the characters would seem bland, IMO.
I do like the aCe for their unique card mechanics and storyline is good. GWF is strong and Tom has gotten better and better in each edition he puts out, in his writing ability and character design.
It was a tough call, they're all really good, just had to go CPC overall.

I really enjoy ALL of the federations.But if I had to choose one It would be the GWF. However they all ROCK!

I voted for the GWF because it's the fed that I have an actual 20 years of history in, and it will always be #1 in my book.
But the CPC and aCe are so uniquely cool that it's hardly a knock on them either. aCe has the coolest storyline in the COTG world, and some flat-out awesome characters on par with all the GWF greats (Avarice, Paganax, Shepard, to name a few).
The CPC, after all this time, has a nice history for me too, and I like the mix of characters there as well. And again, some of them (Cypher, Dante, Crucible to name a few) also rank up amongst the greats for me.
If I could figure out how, I'd be playing all three feds regularly. I think the whole COTG cosmos is awesome.

They all got their strong points without a doubt.
Right now though I gotta go with the CPC, I'm having the most fun with it at the present time. GWF and aCe are bothe right there in a super close second.

I am waiting to start my GWFZ when PM 2 is released. aCe-some of the greatest writing in regards to game logs, that I have ever seen! CPC-Very close to home wrestling with that MMA feel that I love! GWF-Tom...The man continues to knock'em out of the park with each game log. I guess what I'm trying to say is...Advantage PUSH! I have my high points at times and low points, but I know with each fed...I'm just a die roll away from an unforseen incident that will elevate that particular fed into "my favorite" at that moment. I'm just glad that everyone associated with all these fed's are giving all of us the opportunity to be a part of it. THANK YOU

hmmm....(hamster begins running)...hmmm...I like them all and here is my opinion on their individual pro/con points... [glow=red,2,300]GWF: [/glow] Been playing the original since 1988 and there are so many unforgettable characters and many great fed stories i can ramble on about. However, there are editions that I read and am like eh...not much really new storywise... [glow=red,2,300]CPC:[/glow] Love Mark's swerves and characters...he intertwines the stories and plots/subplots that not only take me by suprise but spans several editions...unfortunately, not sure if I like the MMA direction that it is headed... [glow=red,2,300]aCe:[/glow] Sci Fi at it's best...mixes resident evil meets other scifi greats like stargate etc....love the detailed stories that tell exactly how it would go in a war torn society...love the adaptation of some of the existing characters and the new personalities are simply jaw dropping..however, I am behind by like ever and it might end here soon...  IF I had to choose...the original GWF...sorry Mark and Kris! |
