Is Heracles supposed to be like Hercules Hernandez? He reminds me so much of him. Am I the only one?

I'm looking at the drawing of him in The GWF Files 2nd Edition. He always reminded me of Hercules. Maybe I'm wrong, but for some reason......

I don't see any resemblence, but that's just me. Big Time Probably the SE 2101 card since he has the chains, etc. The only difference is the GWF Heracles seems to be a pimp wearing the gold chains, while the real life one wore solid, metal chains

About the only relationship between the two are name and power.

i don't know if there was any deliberate likeness, but Heracles definitely got some "machismo" with that picture...went from a Greek to a Latino with that drawing...

His original Revelations art was so much better then the SE art. FACT! He went from a favorite to just some other guy after the SE art IMO.

With the SE card, I had him steal Amazonia away from Wolf. He had Amazonia, Anaxis, and another female or two around him.
Pimp indeed!

His original Revelations art was so much better then the SE art. Did DMK just compliment card art from the worst set of card art in COTG History?

His SE actually always reminded my of Scott Hall as Razor Ramon.

This may send a few folks into a franzy but I actually thought Gustovich's Star Warrior pic was pretty good. It was better then the manager card Bendis drew, thats for sure.
Gustovich however did draw some real stinkers. But the SW pic wasn't half bad.

Gustovich however did draw some real stinkers. But the SW pic wasn't half bad. In looking at 2098, there are two good pictures...imo...Doomsayer and Heracles. Doomsayer had that simple "i am gonna kick your butt" look and Heracles "rock crusher" let you know the guy had POWER. In reference to Star Warrior...ithink the "handle-bars-part-down-the-middle" look along with the "where are my pupils?" brings it down. Bendis' SW Mangers, while not his best work does have a little "attitude" which for me puts it over Gustovich's. Heck even "the artist formerly known as Prince" made an appearance in 2098...Grunge. And finally, there were a lot of angry clenched fists in that whole set...count them...Doomsayer, Ram, Colossus, Exo-King, Heracles, Marcel DeSade and Killing Machine all had their hands balled into fists. That is two thirds of the set.

The art from 2098 wasn't bad persay, it just didn't look finished. Maybe a bit halfassed. Who knows.
I enjoyed Heracles, SW, Colossus, and Killing Machine. The rest of the art I didn't care for, especially Grunge, which was probably the worst art in the entire set.
Maybe had Gustovich gotten a second chance in 2099 he might of redeemed himself, or maybe he would of dug his grave even deeper. I guess we'll never know.

I did too. But the rest of that set sucked. Doomsayer deserved better.
