A GWFZ set is an excellent idea.
Not sure if it is too early to start proposing ideas for possible cards in the set, but Manslaughter would be a pretty decent one as he was only supposed to be around 18 when he entered the GWF in 2103. That would make it fairly reasonable that he would still be in competitive shape, regardless of how he ages.

So this is just managers, trainers and commissioners, right? None of these woud wrestle, that's the way I take it? What about guys like Raven and others who could still wrestle in this fed with stats like some of the older guys in WWE do in the training facilities?

In the first post in this thread, Osk said most of these guys would have wrestling stats because most of them would be GWFZ trainers. |

Well as we can all see, this is a great idea. I'd say it's a LOCK this thing will eventually come to be.
I personally would like to see it done prior to Galacticon 08. Obviously there is a ton of time between now and then.
As all these awesome ideas have been discussed and tossed around, there have been a lot of talks behind the scenes as well in regards to this edition.
Basically, the "creative team" behind this proposed set is still not completely locked in, and of course, all concepts are pending until they receive Tom's approval.
My point? This set is not yet concrete and is a ways off yet, so please don't expect any solid news on it's development in the near future.
But, that does not mean we should stop discussing it. Keep the talks of the GWFZ alive! ;D

Yo where you at dawgs...
Nice to see all the enthusiasm the boards have for the GWFZ! Good news is PROMOTER MADNESS 2 is just shy of being wrapped up, and if we're all lucky, we'll all be playing it in ninety days or less!
The idea for a GWFZone sister set to "tie everything together" has been being discussed for the past four years by Brett, myself, Mike M, Todd, and later on, Osk of course...even Werner has been recruited to do the art (duh!).
Everyone has some pretty sweet ideas for this edition and with Osk leading the way with Online, it became a bit more of a reality more recently (as, and I'm not sure, but I'd imagine the set might be an on-line exclusive, just my opinion)...
I like the idea of paying tribute to past CAC winners Varsity and Sabre, who were never really used in any official capacity (like TOP and Falcon Oro were in the CPC) along with exploring the personalities of guys who could fit right in and wrestle, like Pegasus in a Ric Flair role which a few people suggested...
The idea of trainers is super cool, as long as they remain in the back ground...I wouldn't want this set to be like aCe where everyone has a camp, and fights under their own flag...that works great in aCe, would be bad for the GWFZ, where it's about the *wrestlers* not the camps...
We definitely need a Commissioner and I could see a Talk Show card and one or two manager card possibilities in the set as well...
with all that said, this whole GWFZone thing is nothing but camp fire talk right now and anything is possible...good news is we, as a community, can discuss at will until things are run by Tom for approval, if he gives one.
What is written in stone is PROMOTER MADNESS 2 where the GWFZ is alive and well and ready to come at ya with over ten new fighters from all over the Galaxy!
Sooner than later you'll have Strong, The Headliners, Motor Psycho and the others joining Hegemony, Overtime, Pride and Ensor along with everyone else from PM1 in your fed! Wait until you see the new feuds in 2122!
I'll probably post another spoiler here soon...just not sure who to use yet...
so for now, let's celebrate the big WINNERS and their time in the sun, as this special, once in a life time moment of being only the second group of PM winners ever comes to life!!!

No problem with that idea at all . I mean you listen to wrestlers in real life and that is what they say . (for example) RVD Hall of Hame and about The Sheik training .

I already have an updated Assassin X with stats which I should be posting on my downloads page soon. But I would love to have another updated official card. This time I will try to create the artwork look like the other standard inks. Maybe this time I will draw him stabbing Monolith in the chest so he too can become part of the ACE Fed too!
