It's about an eight hour drive from the D to Jamestown but with Payback behind the wheel, we've never gotten there in more than six., except fot the year we picked up Mike Fortune and that felt like three days. One year I think we got there in like four and a half hours. It was crazy.

I will definitely be there. I had a hell of a time last year, staying with my boys and I'm really looking forward to this year.
I might even make up a new stroll for when my entrance music hits.

I wish! But nopers. Can't miss the work. And I live in the Northeast corner of the CT so it isn't even that too far from me. Never been, hopefully one day.

That sucks that you have to work the weekend. Although you do have almost 6 months to work on getting the time off. I drove from East Hartford to Jamestown once the day of the con and it took me 9 hours. Of course I don't drive as fast as Swarm and Payback. ;D |

I took me exactly 12 hrs to ride up from Upstate South Carolina last year. I'm hoping to be there this year, but we'll see. Kristen didn't have the best of times last year (the long drive, the noisy kids, the hotel situation, and to top it off, she knows NOTHING about COTG) so I'll have to do a little "convincing" to pull it off. I thought about taking her to Niagra Falls afterwards.
Put me down for maybe...we'll see.

I thought about taking her to Niagara Falls afterwards. The first time I came, that is what it took to get my wife to come along. We spent the weekend in Jamestown and left Sunday afternoon for a week in Niagara...Still one of the best vacations we've ever had...Relaxing and very enjoyable |
