I just want to remind everyone that Monolith is a genetically altered Ani-Men who had an Aethran Cleansing in the year 2121. Dr. Death is the guy who got knocked the [censored] out by Bart Gunn. Anyone who actually votes for Dr. Death is either a troll, or a total moron. or both, One is a fictional character whose background sounds like the worst bootlegger's awesomest wrestler EVER and the other is a legit toughguy who has worked consistently all over the world and is widely respected in the wrestling industry. Seriously...the first rule of game design is "If you stat it, they will kill it." Which means, for anyone out there that can't make the connection, that anything that is statted up can and will be beaten and anything that isn't meant to lose should be handled as a plot device and not as a fully statted entity.

whatever. it's fine. you can have your opinion. it's wrong, but it's yours. also, if you think trying to mock me with a similar catch-phrase is going to bother me, I can save you some time by letting you know now that when you and your friends created a poll about who was going to be the next Plethador in my fed, I reached the peak of feeling good about how much you are obsessed with me. It was the strongest thing I have ever seen. I don't think I could ever feel better than I did about myself when I saw that, so your GED attempt at baiting me now, is just no where as cool as that poll. I felt like I was on Ecstasy when I read it. thank you. Rob, you are extremely paranoid thinking everyone is just trying to bait you. Heaven forbid any of us express any opinions without trying to bait you. You really aren't that special, maybe to Tom or Payback, but not to the rest of us. We are just expressing our opinions as you. Deal with it! Geeez

So I'm guessing Bart Gunn > Monolith?

If we were to go with the "real" battle Dr. Death would win again there as well since he could just pic up the card and tear it in two. So again....this is just a plain silly poll. But it is entertaining and brings about questions of Cloner planets and how much the Legendary Wrestlers of Earth are exactly like their original counterparts.
Hence I don't see the need for a conversion chart is just seems silly and not really needed?

Dang, I just played my Memphis Jerry Lawler and he finished off Monolith with a PILEDRIVER.
Granted, Mr. Lith had him on the ropes on a few occassions...even amassing 5 tokens on Lawler, but Lawler pulled down the strap and belted him, set him up for the piledriver and pinned him for the win!
All hail the KING!
POWERFULLY BUILT!

Does Dr. Death have a game card? If he does, then thats how you should vote, which game card would beat the other.
I vote neither. Monolith is a stacked animen and Dr. Death sucks.
For me, I'd put my money on Thantos beating both by painful Masterlock submission. He'd break both Dr Death's and Monolith's legs and then bang their wives after the match in a show of true dominence!!!!!!

This poll is somewhat strange to even consider, for reasons already mentioned. If we're suspending disbelief totally, which it seems we're gonna have to, I've got to go with Monolith. People love to do these cross-timeline things, but the fact is, the cards were almost certainly never designed to be comparable. Dr. Death was that good against the guys he wrestled. Monolith is that good against the guys he wrestles in our happy fictional galaxies. Having them go against each other is like having a Mongolian try to have a conversation about Greek philosophy with an Afrikaner. The "cultures" aren't compatible.
My guess, based on comments Tom has made, is that he himself would prefer Legends and COTG to remain separate worlds. What other people do is their business, but it won't be official. I think the Greg Valentine in the GWF experiment didn't work out so well and will not be repeated. Nor should it.
No disrespect to the Dr. Death lovers, but ...
Monolith. Hands down.

I do not mix either.........but i see no problem with making a comparison...
With the exception of Chaos.........and later the clensed Thunder.....the so called big bad super characters never really reached that pinnacle....... it was always guys like Bishop Hell, Painmaster, and the Beasts of Burden who became legends......
taking the cards as cards........and using that numeric formula......of course Monolith is better........
but every fed as a unique history and Dice that do not behave....
in my worlds.........Doc has been far more sucessful....... Monlith........, a bust.....
So its DOC.........for what it is worth

Just a question: Was the decision for LOW and COTG not to be mixed before or after Dr. Death made Monolith just another Victim?

Seems to be the "in" thing to do as of late? ;D

Well, technically the Road Warriors are from an era where wrestling was a work, where as the Gladiators are butt-kickin machines who murder, maim and pillage for fun. My money would be on the Gladiators there. Is there proof the GWF isn't a work? ;D Actually, I thought that was mentioned in the original handbook that it wasn't predetermined. Am I mistaken on that? Also, thread moved.

you are correct. Tom plays the fed as if it were real, so yes, it's supposed to be real.

Not everyone in wrestling told ya the truth now Chris...you know "Kayfabe" I say any fed where Spike actually teamed with goody-goodies is a work.
