I knows its early to talk about the next set but here goes
my picks and thoughts
TOP 5
Swarm-Its time the animen returned to the top of the GWF and Swarm is the man to lead them
Tristan-His injurues have healed and its time to lose the mask
Sly Drury-He looks like he is a big player in the GWF and he needs an update to show it
Payback-Its time for the Hardcore Titan to take it to the next level
Phantasy+Latasha-To go with their new teams
Gryt-The Little big guy is ready to step it up
Troubleshooters-Overdue
Epoch-Needs a slight upgrade
Shann-Ra-Overdue and needs it with new talent coming in like Mother Superior and Sultana
Tauran-Maybe a little early for his prime card
Slave Beast-Maybe he has had enough and he breaks away from Strutter and joins the animen team
Amazing Mann-He is due for a new card soon
Betrayer-I can live without it but if he plans on sticking around he needs a better card to fight his brother Tristan
Reckless-Maybe to early for an update

I'll go with Slave Beast who could be a very good wrestler with a few changes to his card.

I think Epoch should get an upgrade from a wrestler to a nasty manager. That's how I see him at least.

I picked tristan as the injuries should have healed by now...others that should (in my humble opinion) are: 1) Payback...to fit in with the diabolical Mother Superior's (she's evil I tell ya...) Divided We Fall... 2) Slave Beast...I totally see him breaking into the Animen next edition...but in my fed, he is the genetically altered Vendetta... 3) Swarm...the either you love him or hate him persona (  ) nees to become "big time" 4) Sly Drury..would like to see him get an upgrade for some reason. I really like the guy but can't win squat in a row 5) Epoch...although his roll as a weaker and strike fear into his partners fits he personality more than a powerhouse. |

I could 'update' many guys, as long as we're not 'upgrading' too. Too many upgrades would have to be balanced out by downgrades for others.
Swarm has the coolest look and most story potential in my opinion - however, he needs to lose the bee attack (kinda silly IMO) and just become a straight-up shoot wrestler.

Epoch or Swarm but if either do get an update I hope that they get better stats and a cool/awesome drawing! =)

I was going to vote for Epoch, but he fits his role too well. An 'evil overlord' that has to rely more on vile schemes rather than pure brawn or ring talent (not that Epoch does badly in my fed) is nice.
I went with Swarm. The AniMen of modern times don't feel like the main eventers of yesterday, which I liked (tho Panther Warrior looks to possibly change that). Swarm is a somewhat different kind of AniMan, compared to the others I've seen before so he seems a perfect candidate if an AniMan was to get an update.

I voted for Gryt.
He's a great character, but I didn't quite like the artwork on the card. I'm not sure why, I mean it's a solid enough drawing. I would just like to see him in a different pose.
Epoch would be a good choice as well.

I voted Amazing Mann, as I believe he is the guy likely to get one according to Tom. Sly Drury is my second choice, as he needs an upgrade.

Since I could only pick one I went with Drury...I actually like the guy but he's been a JTTS in my fed from day one. Swarm honestly needs one, too, but I'm a huge fan of his current card--just because it's fun as hell and not necessarily because he's a galaxy-beater. He's the Justice of 2121.
I don't necessarily know if Epoch needs an upgrade, but I'd like to see him get really nasty in the next set, either card-wise or storyline-wise. As great as Monolith is I wouldn't want to see Epoch pushed aside when his career is still rather young.

I actually voted OTHER this time. They all need some form of update (A Tauran "rookie" card?) but I think some of the folks who also need updates aren't on the list. Disaster for instance, his time is looming for a Cleansing and with having to face the monster MONOLITH he needs to get it soon. Technically if Havoc comes back witha new card it will be an update, and he might need it. Probably the one guy who needs it most right now who isn't on the above list is Antak! The guys is listed with two tag finishers for teams he's not with anymore (Minotaur is gone and Swarm is steping up to the singles stage). This means he and Plethador have NO finisher and must rely on the Suction Claw to win matches (they have in my fed but that might be an anomally). So my official OTHER vote goes to the great ant-man Antak!
