I'm sick of having the Cruiserweight title in my GWF fed, as its always the same 3 or 4 guys fighting for it (The CPC cruiserweight division is awsome though). I already ditched my Hardcore title last year, and my Holovision title back in the Takeover years (Cordanus was the last champ). I will faze out the Cruiserweight title and will introduce a new title to take its place. I have some old title names, a TNA ripoff and something stolen from Swarm/Gatekeeper, but more suggestions are appreciated.
Thank you.

I use the name United Stars Title as a secondary title.

TM, this is going to be seen as either really clever or a groaner, so take it as you want to. The first secondary singles title I ever did was called... the Orion Belt. (Astronomy buffs, snicker quietly amongst yourselves right now.) Anyway, I haven't used it in years, but if you want to resurrect it, I'll only charge a minimal royalty.

I was thinking of doing the same for my Fed, and I'm going to go with the TV title (I just always liked the sound of TV instead of Holovision). So I voted for the Holovision since in virtually the same thing.

I am toying with the 24/7 idea.

I went with Holovision. It's a belt I'm thinking about bringing back too.

Crap, Mark, I've been using it! I owe you some back payments with interest... I first used it in December 1986, when I first started playing. My accountant will be in touch...

The relevance of the following idea really depends on the stage of development your Fed is in. Back when the GWF sets really started to add up my mid card began to swell with second/third tier guys who were becoming 'lost in the shuffle'. It was then that I introduced something called the Pandora's Box title. The goal was to give some of the listless guys a purpose while creating something new and different from the standard format.
The main element of the Pandora's Box is that the Champion _NEVER KNOWS_ who he is fighting...or the conditions under which the title defenses are taking place. I never counted the PB title retention rate as seriously as I did other titles because the focus was purposely on the suspense of the Pandora's Box 'process' more so than any one particular match outcome. That said any wrestler who could shine under these difficult conditions for any length of time developed a 'stepping stone' for moving outside the division and onto bigger and better things.
All you have to do is create a Pandora's Box Chart of eleven role options and then roll two dice. The fun part is that there are so many variables in the game that you can substitute tons of different COTG match options and stipulations in the chart roll at your whim. Anything from a hardcore match like Suicide Chair Swing...an embarrassing stipulation like 'loser gets powdered and diapered'....or an insurmountable odds scenario such as a Parejas Incredibles tag where the PB Champ has to team with his worst enemy...and if he gets pinned the wrestler who scores the winning pin fall gets the title. The only limit is your imagination.
Like Watching Paint Dry (separating guys who are doing nothing of interest from the main roster and putting them into the Pandora's Box division can make lackluster wrestlers into 'niche performers' who shine in their own way...without taking away from the elite on the main roster)
"Pandora raised the lid to have one little peep. Jupiter had malignantly crammed into this box all the diseases, sorrows, vices, and crimes that afflict poor humanity; and the box was no sooner opened, than all these ills flew out, in the guise of horrid little brown-winged creatures, closely resembling moths."
-The Legend of Prometheus and Pandora's Box

Gotta go with the WarGames Title. I had the Cruiserweight Title for awhile, then had a stint with the United Stars Title, but now have the WG Title and it's by far the best of the 3 I've used.
Swarm invented it and so, I figured, why try to reinvent the wheel, use what works.
I love that belt. It's more prestigious than the CW title in that everyone can fight for it, not just guys that weigh 240 lbs. and below.

I really like the Orion belt name too. That may be the name of my "holovision" title in the future.

I've used the Orion belt name myself. It's used in my Titan Training Federation now. (A school/federation run by Lord Nexus)

Thanks for all the great suggestions guys. Definately have a tough decision to make soon. I am leaning towards Holovision or Wargames title, but I also really like the Orion belt naem (but don't want to pay rotyalties to mark to use it ). The new champ will be crowned at the No Holds Barred PPV in a couple weeks in the annual Special Matches tournament. The winner of the Cruiserweight Countdown match at my Night of Champions PPV this weekend will get an automatic spot. Should be fun. I hope this thread has given some good ideas to some of you out there.

I've been using "asteroid Belt" for my secondary Title...
I've never been a big fan of either a cruiser belt or a hard core belt.. I think cruisers are too small a group, and having specialty matches with two random guys weakens their impact (IMO)
The 2 of three falls thing Swarm and Gatekeeper do with their War Games title is kinda cool, but I can't say I like the name.

Wargames Title.
I think it would be awesome to adopt this title from the origins of the "D" and carry on it's tradition in your fed...

i have used a title that is always a best 2 of 3 falls match. The name that I have used for my GWF in the past for the Heritage championship. I have since used that name in a bootleg fed, but it still is a name that links the classic 2 of 3 falls style match.
