I said before that this game edition would end up being one that really injects some life into the COTG tag scene. That remains true, but another solid fact about aCe: 2121 (which you'll find out the title of very soon), is that there are character updates galore.
Every character that did not have an official aCe brand card, will now have one...or be written out. Some brutally, some riding off into the sunset. Ok, I lied, people don't ride off into the sunset in Centra - at least not on MY watch. ;D
But fear not, there ARE enough brand spanking new guys (with some rad stories, if I do say so myself) to keep people entertained.
Joining them are a couple of returning guys who's careers were cut a bit short and backstories not fully explored. Theres been speculation on who these guys might be...and it's been pretty on point.
And then, there are guys who've just had the same cards, or have been around FOREVER. Look at your current aCe cards, and you'll find a few really "old" men still floating around. One's got a card printed in the late 1990's and the other has been around for two decades (in game years) with never an explanation as to why he's not older looking, and slightly out of shape. They'll both be touched.
I've already told you about Warfare. He's an update who's been "Banks-i-fied" and he looks AWESOME.
You WILL be getting a new zombie...a familiar face, but not a rotting reptilian.
Check out the January promoter which will spill a bunch of beans.
Soon, people, real soon.
I'm stoked about this one, fellas. STOKED.

No Zombie Dreadnaught *sniff* come on Mr. Osk... hell, don't even write him in.. just release it as a poster... I'd buy it Lets see.... As for old guys that have older cards, thats Lance, Holocaust, Painmaster, and maybe Cremator? I'm guessing tag update for Lance.. the others could all go in a nice orgy of destruction... maybe a downgrade for Holocaust (also a tag update?) I'm guessing the new zombie is Rouser.. who's with me? I'll probably have more ideas later

Whenever undead, zombies, or whatever are talked about, the name Crossfire always comes to mind.
Although they saved his DNA, so IF that character ever were to come back (given all this time, I suppose that's doubtful), I suppose it doesn't need to be the undead route.

Crossfire always comes to mind. While Crossfire had a cool drawing...i don't think he was ever meant to be anything but "DEAD". If you ask me, Tom put him in the game just to get to Blade...and to make Blazing Skull that much more controversial.

whats wrong swarm a little confused ? I think there's cause to be confused -- I have no idea what was meant by Crossfire being back in spirit either.

We seem to have gotten a little off topic with Crossfire (which has me a little confused as well; I agree that Crossfire's purpose in the mythos of this game was to die), but let me throw my 2 cents in on aCe. People seem to think that At-Las is pretty much safe because he is some sort of "higher-power figure", but I wouldn't put it past Kris to throw the curve ball and find a way to off At-Las (maybe he's the new Zombie, could be how he reunites with Meteor, lots of new tag teams remember). I think that if At-Las gets the death sentence it would almost guarantee the quick ascension of Aspin Northstar, which could be a great blessing in disguise, as Kris has said he is not happy with the way Aspin turned out originally. Cremator seems tot have runs his course, as he was simply a foot soldier that had the misfortune of being one of the first test subjects. Holocaust was brought in to die, there really seems to be no other way around it.
Kris has said that the Tribes will break apart, but that R.O.C. also bands together, so where does that put Avarice? I think the new "Ravager" traitor army could easily be Rankor, Flatliner, Ventross, and ?? vs. Nicodemus, Omni, Odyssey, and Hybrid in a smaller faction feud. I don't think that Hybrid goes to the Tribes, I just don't see the Isle becoming believers in one set. I do think that a new member needs to be added to the Tribes, Grovel has really run his course as well, and Darkness Falls are way too much fun to mess with (as a side note Josh and I just had our battle for the #1 draft pick; with me leading 2-1 in a first to 3 wins competition, D. Falls drew NuBorn Destruction. The first move of the match was the KILLER INSTINCT, immediate pin on Warfare to win the #1 pick. For the first time since 2108, 2 guys are officially listed as one, so this was a great year to win the big one.)
I think that's a good start for predications for now, what do you guys think?

I think the new guys will be with Ventross and Nemean, and feud with Nicodemus, Warfare, Tekaro and a new, more expirimental science expiriment guy.. maybe a jacked up Holocaust, or maybe a totally new guy.
I think Hybrid goes over to Paganax, and the syndicate gets a new member and splits.
Godsend clearly splits with Murdok and brings in some 4th realm demons... I think a returning guy and a new one.
I think ROC stays together, but the more spiritual side of the team (Shepard Exodus, Aspin, and maybe Lance, if he doesn't go.. if he does... maybe Gatekeeper? Godsend leave and isn't shielded any more...) focus on Godsend while Aegis, Hustler, Scorch, and a new guy or two go after the Crusade.

Lance, if he doesn't go.. if he does... I think it goes without saying that losing Lance would make me a sad panda.
