So I thought I'd throw him a cupcake in Grovel. Boy was that a mistake. One of those add 1 moves and a snake eyes roll and I was beating my head on the table. Hopefully Exodus does better next time around.

Tommy, I couldn't agree more...wish I had final edit on the aCe cards. BUT! No worries - there will be a legit fix in 2121. It will fit storyline-wise and even more importantly, it should take Exodus to the top where he belongs. ...and no, I'm not just going to doctor his stats. It's much, much more than that. So for now, play it out. Godsend and company are just too strong for the angel. But calling Ex a wuss becaue he rolled snake-eyes against Grovel? Come on now, that's a bit much. I've rolled "snake-eyes" plenty of times in my life...haven't you? ~ :-Xsk

Well since turning to a more "Entertainment" style for my feds, some wrestlers I wouldn't have thought would make it to the top have...for example Dante was my GWF champion for a while because of using underhanded tactics to win. In Exodus' case I would attribute the lose to Grovel as inexperience and being unprepared for the savagery that Grovel can bring.

Coming into the fight Grovel was 1-10 with a win over Rouser I think. Oh well. I'll throw him Noxious and see if he can rebound a little.

I do hope Exodus gets stronger as I love the storyline for him.

Exodus has a sub par card (the art is awesome) his stats need some improving if he thinks he can hang with Godsend and the boys.

How strong did you intend him to be? IMO, he's the 4 best guy on ROC, not exactly what you'd expect from an angel decending from heaven

Maybe the transition (not being able to use all of his powers) has weakened him. That's the way I see it. Godsend can't use all of his powers either, right?

I intended him to be at or slightly above Aegis' level.
I DID want Godsend to be the top guy (statistically), so at least that turned out right.
I'm sure I've mentioned this before, but there were a few things altered on Exodus' card that really chopped him down in stature.
Two major things I can think of right off the bat:
Kingdom Come was an Add 1 Another Down 3 was added to Level 3 D
~ :-Xsk
PS - and oh yeah, Wildfire, who DO you consider above Ex on the ROC other than Aegis and Shep?

The two biggest problems I have with Exodus are with WRATH OF GOD and wtih his Ring rating. It can be awful hard to hit WRATH OF GOD, and against someone with an A ropes rating (like his arch-nemesis) it's farily likely to be a reversal if it misses. And with the bad ring rating, he doesn't have the same opportunity for reversal when he gets his down (lv) like someone with an A rating (like his arch-nemesis). I think he's got a solid, but not spectacular card as it is right now.

His C ring rating does drag down his card a little, but not only doesn't he break the rules, he doesn't take me as someone who bends the rules either. So it fits the character. Maybe, I'll use Kingdom come as an add 1 move, and see what happens. It would be the first time I used a stat different from whats on the card.

Maybe, I'll use Kingdom come as an add 1 move, and see what happens. I agree that the C Ring rating is definitely in character, you'll get no argument from me on that one. I just think it drags him down quite a bit for someone of the caliber he's supposed to be.

It does hurt a bit. I think his finisher though is the main issue. With no add 1, a weak finisher that too often ends up in the ropes kills him.

I'm not sure I'd put Shepherd over Aegis though it's close. Shepherd is another guy though who can be very inconsistent. Aegis has picked it up I t hink with the new battle armor rule. It helps him against several wrestlers.

I'd go Shepard over Aegis. I think Shepard's got a better offense overall, with the lack of ways to "give away" offense compared to Aegis and the better L2O to more make up for an add 1 and a slightly more powerful finsiher for Aegis. On defense they're virtually identical, with Aegis having just that smidge lower PIN. If someone wanted to argue the other way, though, I wouldn't be too picky about it - they're both great cards.

Yeah, same here. LAL did have a good title run for me, but since then, he's been losing to guys all over the place especially to Noxious.
