[glow=red,2,300]“Primal Rage on Primus”[/glow]
Nemean: Ladies and gentlemen, Grovel and myself welcome you to the grungiest arena of all the Centran system! This special event is part of an ongoing tournament that will decide the ruling faction of all the aCe! We have a spectacular card lined up with the main event being a real barn burner as the leader of the Ravager army faces off against the Blackheart himself-Avarice! What is your prediction of the main event Grovel baby? Grovel: (stares puzzled at Nemean) Nemean: Well, that about sums it all up and now let’s head to the ring…
Small Arms fire and preset explosions rock the arena and the fans erupt in applause as the card begins!
Aegis made quick work of Noxious: The R.O.C. member quickly blasted Noxious with a spinning elbow smash that put the undead participant flat on his back! After a moment or two, he didn’t rise to his feet and Aegis easily covered him for the pin. (dud) (3)
Nemean: Ummm…wow! Didn’t expect it to be that quick! It took longer for the announcer to announce that Aegis won the bout then the match itself! What the heck is Noxious doing here anyway? Are Murdok’s Crusade really that hard up for help? Truly sad… Grovel: (growls and points at Aegis) Nemean: Calm down big guy. Aegis is on his way out and we take you to the next match up between General Rankor and Painmaster.
Painmaster bloodies General Rankor: Painmaster really took it to the Crusade’s member and used several Torture Racks and Painmaster Stretch Bombs to soften up the General. After applying two straight FACE FIRST CRASHES, Grovel left the announcer’s stand and jumped in the ring to break up the three count on his fellow Crusade member but was given a Impale clothesline for his troubles. This gave Rankor enough time to climb to the top of the turnbuckle and attempt a flying body press but the Aurigae native ducked at the last moment and reapplied the FACE FIRST CRASH for the duke. (****) (3)
Nemean: I guess that will teach you to stick your nose where it doesn’t belong…(laughs)..that was a great match and sure this next match… Grovel: (he rubs his forehead and starts to whine) Nemean: Anyway…the team of Divine Elightenment (Exodus and Lance At-Las) face Mass destruction (Warfare and Ventross)!
Mass Destruction squeezed by Divine Intervention: This match teetered back and forth for about ten minutes with both Warfare and Ventross applying their finishers to Lance At-Las but the Martian was able to tag out to Exodus. The enlightened one tried his best but was simply overpowered by the Mass Destruction team. The end came after Exodus tossed Ventross into the ropes and tried for the WRATH OF GOD finisher but Ventross countered with a simple sunset flip for the victory (****). (5)
Nemean: Nice! What a fantastic tag match between the two face factions and not surprisingly the match was fought cleanly by both sides. Although, I did think At-Las was a goner after he suffered through THE BIG PAYBACK and two MERCY KILLINGS! However, Exodus would be the one to fall from grace. What do you think my mindless cohort? Grovel: (He looks blankly at At-Las and suddenly relieves himself underneath the announcer’s table) Nemean: Well, that could only mean that our next match is up…Murdok facing off against the turncoat of Flatliner!
Murdok cheats past Flatliner: The momentum of this match changed hands several times but Flatliner eventually gained control. He bombarded the Antilia with Electro Shots and Double Arm DDT’s and applied the SHOCK AND AWE for what ever thought was the coup d’ etat. However, it was not meant to be as Trisis climbed the ring apron and low-blowed Flatliner! Murdok quickly used this to his advantage and used the feared CENTRA TAKEOVER for the win. (****) (3)
Nemean: Ow, ouch! Flatliner’s hard drive will never be the same and I am guessing that he definitely will be feeling that one in the morning! Grovel: (The cameraman zooms in on Grovel who is gnawing on one of Murdok’s zombie’s legs) Nemean: Man...don’t you have any pride? You’re terrible! Leave that poor thing alone! Grovel: (He snaps at the Ravager and quickly returns to his seat) Nemean: To our next match…Noxious will return after that “spectacular” showing against Aegis and face off against Paganax in the feared Steele Cage!
Paganax crunches Noxious: The Heathen Chief (just like the ROC member) blaster the former Meteor! Paganox used a Lava Drop that sent Noxious reeling and then busted Noxious across the back with a steel chair! This caused Noxious to duck a little and blam…PAGAN VOID ended the match! (dud) (5)
Nemean: Well that went as expected! Almost feel sorry for that swamp rat but business is business! Finally, we move you to the main event…Nicodemus versus Avarice in what promises to be an awesome match up! Grovel: (He once again stares blankly in the camera while picking off lice and munching on them)
[glow=red,2,300]**MAIN EVENT**[/glow]
Nicodemus defeated Avarice: A close contested battle between these two superstars with Avarice controlling the early parts of the match but Nicodemus landing NUCLEAR WINTER that turned the tide! After the failed pinfall, a green mist of essence enveloped the Dark Heart but the home field advantage wouldn’t help him as the Ravager leader put him on his back with a Fusion Bomb! Nicodemus would seal the deal with four consecutive NUCLEAR WINTERS and raise his hand in victory! (****) (3)
Nemean: The main event definitely lived up to the hype! As we go off the air, we will flash the scores for this event across your vidscreens! Good night and remember to lock your doors citizens because there is a war going on.
Final Scores:
FACTION: Ravager Army(2-0) 8 points Murdok’s Crusade( 2-0) 6 points Planet Primus(1-3) 5 points R.O.C. (1-1) 3 points

Now to try to get us back on track and make up for my taunting Ace ... aCe Dimensional Tournament Standings after BDS' Keeper's Card (14 of 24)Faction Standings1. Ventross (5-4-0, 21 points) 6 (T). Shepard (5-1-0, 20 points) 6 (T). Warfare (5-2-0, 20 points) 8 (T). General Rankor (5-5-0, 19 points) 8 (T). Holocaust (5-5-0, 19 points) 10 (T). Hybrid (5-2-0, 18 points) 10 (T). Paganax (4-4-0, 18 points) Comments: Things are really starting to tighten up in the faction race. Primus is at least making themselves look respectable, although they might be out of it at this point. The Ravagers have done a good job of catching up to the ROC and the Crusade. In the singles ranks, Godsend is looking mighty impressive, whereas age seems to have caught up with everyone's favorite Martian. The ROC's still making a good showing of things, and Shepard's looking good with only one loss.

[If there is one thing Paganax has come to love; it's the Ravager technology that allows him to send is image and message all across the dimension. In Paganaxs mind every time he went in front of the "holovision" camera and spoke; everyone was watching and cowering, in fear of this volcano king, this god of fire. He especially loved his own larger than life image behind him. It was no different this night on Primus. Most of his "subjects" would be wrestling; he himself would be humiliating the upstart ravager Nemean, so there was no doubt that everyone in the dimension would be watching. Why wouldn't they? He was a god after all.
The stage was set with all the meager trappings of royalty Primus could offer. Paganax spoke "Pathetic outsiders you too will bow down to Paganax. Paganax is your god, Paganax is your conqueror, Paganax is..." "Boring as all heck." It was Nemean who had hacked into the broadcast. "We interrupt this snooze fest for...The Nemean show; tonights episode 'Paganax Heathen Chef.' ". Sure enough there on the Holoscreen was Nemean made to look (sort of) like Paganax, down to a chefs hat on top of a cardboard cut out of the prince of Primus crown. Nemean (as Paganax): "Tonight we shall make 'Primus Pie Surprise.' ". For the next couple of minutes Nemean threw random items into a pan and talked in a manner that mimicked Paganax (kind of); while the real Paganax screamed at Rankor to fix his device. Finally Nemean finished speaking, "..no need for an oven, Paganax full of hot air. And now for the surprise." Just then Nemean ran across the stage where Paganax was still ranting, and nailed him square in the face with a pie, then without stopping raced off. A shocked Paganax stood face to face with his image frozen on the holoscreen. enraged at this insult he picked up his throne and threw it thru the screen and ran off the stage, the rest of his team right behind him.
Opening match Godsend easily defeated a confused Krypt with Speak of the Devil. Give the devil his due and3pts. Krypt picked up 6 tokens in this match.
Cremator upset Scorch when he hit his Cremator Claw for 3 pts.
A cleaned up Paganax enters the ring, the rest of his army in tow. "Nemean will pay for embarrassing me, I'll brand him my slave. Just like Jackyll will make the false god Exodus a slave. There match will a Primus slave match (combination dog collar and four corners match). Exodus, Nicodermus, and Murdok may talk like they rule the galaxy, but only I rule the galaxy."
Primus Slave match: Exodus finished off Jackyll with Wrath of god (+2) for 5pts. Jackyll had 7 tokens.
Ventross was victorious over Aegis with a Mercy Killing for 3pts
Avarice and Flatliner defeated Painmaster and Gheist when Flatliner hit his Shock and Awe on Gheist in only two moves. A and F pick up 5pts in under 20 seconds.
Paganax took out a pound of flesh and then some, to absolutely dominate Nemean, winning with a Pagan Void. 3pts
After the match: Grovel hands Paganax the slave collar from earlier in the night. Krypt and Jakyll bring in a large crucible full of magma. rankor, Flatliner, and Avarice ties Nemean in the corner with the slave collar. Paganax slaps Nemean and yells in his face. He then goes to the crucible and scoops out a hand full of magma; but, before he could throw it into the Ravagers face Exodus, Scorch, Ageis, and Ventross storm the ring; knocking Paganax down. The Spilled molten rock from the primus leader and the crucible starts the ring and arena floor ablaze. A mass panic ensues as fans crowd the exits. Ventross quickly unties Nemean and the five make a break for safety just in time. While the fire and panic caused some injuries there were fortunately no deaths.
For a guy who's team had a good showing, Paganax was angry. He may have won his match, and scored a measure of revenge; but, on this day he had lost face, his beloved holoscreen, and his favorite stadium.

Holocaust (5-5-0, 19 points)
Comments: Fifteen cards in and we're tied atop the faction standings. Crazy talk, that is. C'mon ROC!
Godsend is still shining in the singles ranks, but there are still some people to look out for. Shepard only has one loss, and Murdok, Warfare, and Hybrid (who is just outside the top 10) all only have two and could conceivably catch up if Godsend slips. It's going to be exciting!
Nine more cards of action remain between now and the end of our tournament. Who will come out on top?
Edit: Now with color coding!

SPECIAL aCe EVENT
Hustler vs. Noxious’’ Hustler bounced on down to the ring backed by hard hip-hop beats throughout the stadium. He came in and lit up the zombie with some brawling technique before using a CURB JAW and almost snapped the zombies head in two at the mouth like ripe cantaloupe. But in true Blue Steel fashion, Hustler’s goal was to hurt his enemy…not pin him. That was a mistake in and of itself, but the Savior of the Streets later made another error…one which proved fatal. Late in the back and forth contest, Hustler chose to take the fight outside the ring. The putrid reanimated corpse of the man once called Meteor proved himself somewhat worthy of at least a NOD of recognition as he took Hustler down(-3) while Outside the Ring not once, but twice. After the second time, Noxious hit the most brutal series of OUTBREAK head butts imaginable (+5) before getting the three count.
Result: Noxious via PIN. Rating:***
The Cyber-Union (Nicodemus and Holocaust’) v. Darkness Falls (Krypt’’’’’ and Jakyll‘) You could literally feel the electricity in the air as the Cyber-Union made their way to the ring. Krypt and Jakyll were both perched on their own respective turnbuckle tops. The creatures hissed and screeched in the direction of the Nicodemus and Holocaust as they approached. Eventually, Darkness Falls were at least ready to try again to adhere to the guidelines of the aCe match. At that point the bell sounded and the action began. It was furiously fast and fans present witnessed the Tribesman of Primus hit the hurt Holocaust with RED DAWN and went on to see a missed KILLER Instinct late in the match. Nicodemus did most of the work for his partner, and eventually ended a bloody, bloody Krypts night with the NUCLEAR WINTER.
Result: Cyber-Union via PIN. Rating:**1/2
~Centra Coffin Match~ Hybrid’’’ vs. Exodus’’’’’’’’’’ These two colossal forces met in a match that would see one participant end up face to face with grim reaper himself. As Exodus has proved, his skills are nowhere near being up to par when fighting in no-rules type contests…and as Hybrid has proved, this sorts of contest are suited for him. The beast sprinted down to ringside and proceeded to pound the pulp out of the First Realmer. Hybrid beat Exodus around the ring, inside and out, over, in, and almost through the coffin. Exodus fell victim to a pair of POISON DRIVERS and eventually was struggling just to stand up. But just when things looked the grimmest, the supernatural being fought back. He hit a dazzling display of Signature Moves before trying to shove the monstrous Tribesman into the custom made XXXXL Ravager Coffin. As the two fighters battled over the coffin door, Hybrid from his back, inside the box, and Exodus from the apron, attempting to close the door with his boot (the only way for the smaller man to have and leverage), the lights in the arena suddenly went out. There was a nervous chatter throughout the arena that turned to sudden gasps as a lone burst of fire lit the arena for a moment. As the stadium regained its power, the fans were furious to see Exodus inside the casket, with Hybrid…and GODSEND closing the lid. The fans littered the area with trash and debris. Godsend begged off, retreating out of Hybrid’s direct line of sight. The demon cackled his way all the up the aisle to the back.
Result: Hybrid wins (due to Godsend’s interference) Rating: **1/2
Shepard’’’’’ vs. Avarice’’ The fans were on their feet for literally the entire match. An awesome back and forth technical exhibition got the action started. Although it was Avarice controlling the pace of the fighting, Shepard’s strength, agility, and fighting skills kept the Blackheart at bay. As time went on, both fighters grew tired, but neither let up the intensity level. Nearly EVERY SINGLE MOVE IN EACH MAN’S OFFENSIVE ARSENAL WAS USED AT LEAST ONCE during the course of the amazing 20 minutes that followed the awesome opening. Late in the match, Shepard went for a Deathjump, but Avarice raised his knees. Then Avarice went to the top, but Shepard moved! The Priest went for the kill, but Avarice reversed a Shepard attack, hit the Power of Greed and went for the cover. But Shepard kicked out! Avarice pounded the mat in frustration. He picked up Shepard and hit him with a 7th SIN in the center of the ring for the 1,2, but Shepard kicked out! The Priest fought back and took down Avarice after a pair of heat seeking Silver Bullets. He set up for the EXORCISM, but the Blackheart barely rolled out of the way. In fact, Avarice kept on rolling, all the way out of the ring. He caught a breath and then dragged the hurt Vagabond outside the ring with him. It was hard to tell exactly what it was that was hidden in the Avarice’s black cloak as he reached into it while he had Shepard at his mercy outside the ring, but rest assured, it was highly illegal and even more dangerous…and certainly small enough to conceal in his fist. Avarice rocked Shepard with the foreign object and snuck back in the ring just in time as the ref went on to call for Shepard’s count out. Avarice quickly rolled back out, went to his cloak and pulled out another object. This one much more recognizable. It was a rose…a black rose. Avarice sniffed the flower enthusiastically as the crowd roared in disapproval. He placed it down on the KO’d Priest’s chest before exiting the ringside area.
Result: Avarice via CO Rating: ****
Warfare’’ vs. Murdok’ w/Trisis The two big men went nose to nose as the bell rang. Murdok shoved Warfare first…and ended up paying for it dearly for the next 5 minutes. Warfare gave the word Destruction a new meaning as he absolutely whooped the Harvester for the rest of the match. Murdok fell victim to every big power move Warfare could dish out and it appeared as if all of Murdoks years in the ring were catching up to him as he couldn’t match agility OR power with his (much, much) much younger opponent. Late in the contest, Warfare had no trouble hoisting Murdok up over his head. The crowd buzzed as they sensed what was coming next. The buzz exploded into a roar as Warfare rocked the Harvester with THE BIG PAYBACK. It appeared to be over as the ref counted 1,2, but suddenly a lone zombie slithered into the ring, distracting the ref and breaking the cover attempt. Warfare grabbed the zombie by its greasy hair, lifted the miserable creature above its head and then brought it down into a BIG PAYBACK, effectively breaking the things spine into a horrific Z-shape. Warfare continued the assault on Murdok who was now regaining his wind. The Harvester was sent Into the Turnbuckle, but pulled a desperate reversal and shocked Warfare with an Antilian Atomic Drop out of nowhere. Warfare tip-toed around, clutching his crotch, a silent howl of pain on his face. Murdok rolled up the big man, with a handful of tights for good measure and got the 1,2, and 3! The fans lashed out with disapproving boos and hisses, but the Harvester simply scooped up Trisis and hurried away to the back, taunting the fans all the while.
Result: Murdok via PIN. Rating: **1/2
~Main Event~ Aegis’ vs. PainMaster The two ring veterans squared off in the final match of the evening. As expected, the evenly matched fighters went move for move and most of the smarter fans in attendance prepared themselves for an exciting, but perhaps lengthy match. They couldn’t have been more off the mark. When the action spilled outside early on, PainMaster took over on the leader of the ROC.He used his crafty ways to get a hold of his whip, create a makeshift noose, and slip it over Aegis’ neck. As the ref counted and was unable to notice the illegal object in use, PainMaster used every bit of strength he had to strangle Aegis to the point of unconsciousness. Unsatisfied with a Count Out victory, the masochistic Master shoved Aegis back into the ring and put his limp body up into The Torture Rack. The ref was dumbfounded as Aegis didn’t even attempt to break the hold, but lifted the participants arm anyways. It fell once, twice, and three times <<rolled Snake Eyes on Pin Attempt>> and the bell sounded. The fans were up in arms over the evil and particularly cruel way that the PainMaster had broken the rules. Result: PainMaster via SUBMISSION Rating: *1/2
Master hustled out of the ring and met the rest of the Crusade present who stood atop the ramp way. The cameras zoomed in to catch Murdok congratulating PainMaster, Trisis a step behind the Harvester as usual, and Noxious, coughing up a vile substance too dark and thick to be blood. The zombie noticed the cameraman stepping in closer, the staff member intrigued by the undead creature’s behavior. The point of view for the view at home was nothing but the zombie Noxious lunging towards the holovid and then a quick cut to static…

aCe Dimensional Tournament Standings after Kris Osk's Card (16 of 24)
Faction Standings 1. Murdok's Crusade (31-24-0, 114 points, 2.07 points/match) 3. Ravager Army (29-27-0, 110 points, 1.96 points/match) 3. Ramparts of Centra (28-26-0, 105 points, 1.94 points/match) 4. Planet Primus (24-35-0, 97 points, 1.64 points/match)
Top 10 Individuals 1. Godsend (8-1-0, 30 points) 2. Murdok (8-2-0, 29 points) 3 (T). Lance At-Las (6-4-0, 24 points) 3 (T). Ventross (6-4-0, 24 points) 3 (T). Holocaust (6-5-0, 24 points) 6. Hybrid (6-2-0, 23 points) 7. Scorch (6-3-0, 22 points) 8 (T). Paganax (5-4-0, 21 points) 8 (T). Exodus (5-5-0, 21 points) 10 (T). Shepard (5-2-0, 20 points) 10 (T). Warfare (5-3-0, 20 points)
Comments: Things are starting to look pretty grim on Centra, as the Crusade took a big step towards winning the tournament. Murdok and Godsend maintain a pretty solid hold on the top two individual spots, and the Crusade itself has opened up a four point cushion in the faction standings. The Ravager Army is closing fast, though, using a strong performance on the last card to leapfrog the ROC into second place.
As for Primus, I have a sinking suspicion that Paganax will be killing and then eating Krypt and Jakyll in the very near future. Yeah, it's not their fault they're not singles guys, but I'm not gonna be the one to explain that to Paganax. How about you?
Edit: Because despite what I might wish to be otherwise, the Crusade is alone in first, not tied for the position.

Faction Standings 1. Ravager Army (32-27-0, 123 points, 2.08 points/match) 2. Murdok's Crusade (32-28-0, 119 points, 1.98 points/match) 3. Planet Primus (27-36-0, 106 points, 1.68 points/match) 4. Ramparts of Centra (28-28-0, 105 points, 1.88 points/match)

Paganax (6-4-0, 24 points) 4 (T). Holocaust (6-5-0, 24 points) 8 (T). General Rankor (6-5-0, 22 points) 8 (T). Scorch (6-3-0, 22 points) 10 (T). Flatliner (6-6-0, 21 points) 10 (T). Exodus (5-6-0, 21 points)
Comments: The Ravager Army has made a HUGE move, and is firmly in charge of first place. Beware the Hybrid, people. Thanks to his victory in tag action over Murdok and Godsend, first place in the individual standings is up for grabs now, too. I think this is going to go down to the wire on both counts.
And yes, I'm ignoring the fact that the ROC is in last now.
Until that last sentence, at least.
