Although he is always very close, he just can`t win the big ones. You know, I've heard this before and I even got a vibe for it myself when I've used the Aegis card. Funny thing is though, I kind of see it as fitting the character. I mean in 2119 the Trisis reveal had to have really knocked the wind out of the guy. Now that we're half way through 2120, he seems to maybe be picking up some steam. I think he's finally ridding himself of the guilt and is poised to do battle. Now would be a great time for Aegis to reinvent himself, wouldn't it?  ~ :-Xsk |

he had split years in my fed. when he first started then he was pretty good but now he struggles and lost all his luster... not to mention his wife

2113 was his best year in my fed when he went 8-3-1 and won his only title ever in my fed, the Galaxian King. Other than that he didnt do much, ever!

Aegis is one of my favorite guys in aCe but he never can seem to win the big matches.

Aegis was awesome in the GWFC years, but when they came back to Dimension Y, it just wasn't the same. He was still mid to top card talent, but he was never the top guy like he was on Centra. Great character, though!

Great character, though! I agree with this. On Centra, I booked him in the main events all the time, but when the GWF came back to Dimension Y, he lost that driving storyline for me to push him. Always liked the character and really feel for him as it looks like he may have lost Trisis forever. |

Aegis has come close so many times and fallen short for me, too. Murdok has a (excuse me for the pun) "undeath grip" on the aCe belt right now and Aegis just can't quite top him. I've started teaming him up with Hustler, who is the ultimate team wrestler by the way, ina side fued with Holocaust and Nicodemus. Nicodemus called into question Aegis' motives, saying he was more concerned with lost love than the fate of the dimension. Aegis has taken the war to him and Holocaust, the tag team champions. I always kind of pull for Aegis to take a title and make some headway in his war, but he's just spinning his wheels right now.
