I had been running my aCe fed as an anarchy, with a loose core of federation rules that got enforced by Nicodemus and his guns. With the recent dispute over Godsend's exile, however, the issue has been pressed, and the four factions have agreed to institute a commissioner. The commissioner will mediate disputes over the title and, in rare instances, issue small (usually 1 card) suspensions.
The right to choose is to be won in the ring, of course, and every four months thereafter we'll have another Commissioner's Challenge, and a new commissioner will be chosen. This should prevent one faction from naming a permanent commissioner and then dominating. I'm even going to work up a Commissioner's chart of sorts to use.
So who makes the decisions in your aCe fed? Is it Nicodemus, Murdok and his Plague, Shepard and his pointy stick, or any and everyone? And just how bad is my idea?

Most of my cards are held on Centra so the Centra government makes a lot of the big decisions. Once I start doing it on the other planets I think I'll have Aegis/Nicodemus/Murdok/Paganax form a voting council.

I run my aCe as a being run by the wrestlers themselves, whicht he leader of each team "hosting" the card when its on their planet. I have implied that they roughly approve the matches, which are made mainly by the wrestlers themselves.If there is a dispute, the disputees have a match... if that doesn't work, I Nicodemus the decision maker(there really haven't been any yet)
Cool idea with the commissioners challenge, though I would think the bad guys would abuse it if you stay true to character. (like book Aegis Vs. Holy Crusade and such)

Boy, I guess I've never even thought of who's in charge in the aCe?!?! I was just assuming that whoever's planet was hosting the event would have the final word on what matches happened, who is doing what, etc...
so if it was on Antilla, Murdok would be in charge, on Primus...Paganax, Centra...Aegis, Ravager Mothership... Nicodemus.
But I do like the Commishiner Challenge angle. A nice way to delegate power! Great topic!

Well, the first Commissioner's Challenge is over and was won by ... the Ravager Army. Figures. At least Nicodemus has agreed-upon authority now to go along with his guns and vast nuclear arsenal.

I am just starting my aCe fed and here is what I plan on doing to determine "Who's the Boss?"
The committee of Nicodemus, Murdock, Paganax, and Aigis will make decisions. But the four of them will have a mini-tournament to determine the "War Commander". This person will have the tie breaking vote in the committee. The position of "War Commander" will be defended on every aCe card, thus allowing the other committee members the opportunity to become "War Commander".

I would imagine that there would be some kind of commitee that determines who gets shots at the Essence titles...it cannot be all anarchy...

It is true that I am in charge of all the stars. I am the official owner ala Vince McMahon (only not as perverted) of all my feds. I don't appear on every show, but I cause lots of controversy when I do appear!!!!

that way each show will have an differnt feel. but since i play(or try to play) my feds evry weeken so things stay caught up each week in the month theres a new comiss from the leaders. and on those 5 week months. its total war in the aCe!

Personally until there is an official commissioner . In my aCe , it is just gonna be tough . If you get sneak attacked etc . Just live with it and fight back when fit again .
