review of aCe Reinforcement

I finally recieved the game today and I am impressed! All of these guys except for Averice are perfect for a no-rules trash fed that I plan on starting. Kris and the card artists did a wonderful job on this game edition. Now for a review of each card:


Godsend: The artwork is awsome. The stats are good. The storyline is awasome. Finally Godsend achieves his ultimate goal (I not telling).

Gheist I like the artwork on this card. This guy will be a player!!!!!

Avarice This is the best drawn card of the set. This guy is even more heartless then Thantos!!!!! I plan on having Avarice join the GWF!!! In my opinion, he would fit in better over there.

Tekaro I like the artwork on this card. The facial expression is one of shear anger!!! This will be a fun card to use!!!!

Hustler I like this card!!! The pistil whip is a feared finisher(?) and will be a force to deal with!!!!

Exodus Atman is back! The artwork for this card is very good. The storyline of why he come back is well told and makes this feud with Godsend very interesting.

ventross The once proud warrior Ventress gets a special edition card!!! The artwork is alright (I have seen alot worse over the years). Ventross will be tough to beat.

Hybrid The artwork is good and is not what I expected! I was not expecting a hulked out monster from Primus. Paganax will have trouble calming this non-believer down!!!

[bSycophant][/b] This guy is sick!!!!!! His domistic pardner is sick too. The artwork for this this charactor is one of the worst in the set.

Aspin Northstar I was very dissapointed with this card. The artwork is good but not what I expected!!!!!


Overall, this game edition is well worth the money. Even if you don't run aCe, pick up the game and use the cards in another fed. I plan on using some of these guys in a hardcore wrestling fed I'am planning. The rest I will use in my GWF. Kris, Sue, and Banks did a great job on this edition.

I got the game monday and i must say that everything from the storylines is awesome. I was very impressed with the whole package overall.

Just received my aCe set today. Great job by Kris and the gang on a great set!

The handbook reads like a movie, very good. Love Avarice, love 'em.

There are a lot of great characters in this set and works well for the aCe storyline.

The only non-compliment I can give is that it just seems a little weird for these guys to be having confrontations in the handbooks where there are guns drawn and fired and even some deaths, but then they're going to go wrestle?

But overall, a nice set and great handbook. Kudos to Kris and his "staff." Highly recommended for everyone to get!

I kinda thought that as well, but then, the whole point of aCe it to prevent the guns and killing, but, since it is a war, one could expect even people attempt to be restrained to bubble into violence on occasion... after all, Rouser is gone (for now anyway)

I have always felt that way about many of the CotG conflicts. If Mandrill was such a monster, he would have been killed as soon as he first walked down the runway. It was hard for me not to picture what would happen to someone like Hitler in Mandill's situation.

Oh, well, it is a game, and an escape from reality; that is how I shall enjoy it !
