The following is an excerpt from an article on MMAOnTap.com:
“If you watch the last UFC, this is something nobody knows, the Mirko Cro Cop fight that was on Spike last week - he got kneed in the balls, he went down and said to “Big” John McCarthy, “I’m too old for this shit.” and Big John said “No man you’re fine, you’re fine.” and he goes, “No I should just quit right now.” He said this while he was down and Big John goes, “If you want to quit just let me know and he said no, no I don’t.” So he had 5 minutes to recover and said he was too old for this.”
This is the type of guy who doesnt need to be in the UFC !
I feel sorry for him as he was hyped to the moon and has failed miserably. Just give it up, Too old ? No, ( ask The Natural )...Quitter ? Yes....Bye Bye...There will be others to fill your spot, at least they may want to be there !!!
What a FN baby !

Fedor said he's one of the those fighters who couldnt turn a fight around. Looks like he might be right. I think it's a little harsh to call the guy a baby though. Getting knocked the "f" out can do a lot to a fighter. Until I get knocked out and can shake it off, I won't say anything bad about the guy.

He didnt get knocked out in the Kongo fight, He just ran from him the whole time ! Thats the fight he cried about quitting. If he is in MMA he should expect to get KO'd at least one time, LOL !
Who knows though, I was never in UFC so I guess I dont know how it feels to be in the big time.

CroCop's a national sports hero in Croatia. He's served as an elite level commando in the anti-terrorist wing of his nation's armed forces, he's had a respectable political run and he's done television shows and media gigs. Life is good for him and he's earned it.
He made the effort to fly in Dean Lister and spent the money to build a cage to train in at his facility. It just hasn't worked out for him in the UFC. He rolled the dice and made the effort...but came up short...it can happen to anyone. I still respect him and his accomplishments...although I wouldn't resign him to anywhere near his original downside.

He definetly was thrown off by Kongo's style (who looked pretty damn good btw). I'm just arguing with you becuase I spent the whole UFC card drawing him...and then he lost ;(. I wasnt too happy about that..lol.

Kongo broke his rib in the first round with a kick and leaned on it most of the fight. Cro Cop's got alot of gusto for not getting finished there.
