Not sure if anyone saw this. New group running a show in CT at the Casino. I don't know if the matches will be exciting but they got names that are familar and I think secertly (or not so secertly ) I love the freak fights
Butter Bean vs. Stefan Gamlin (former WWE devolpmental guy who actualy took on Mayhem Miller not too long ago)
Sean O'Haire vs. Mark Kerr (should be a win for Kerr his first in many years)
Jeff Monson vs. Wes Sims (remember The Sylvia vs. Monson fight not too long ago.. hopefuly monson learned a thing)
Maverick Harvey vs. Edwin Dewees( Maverick is sort of an intersting guy Dewees is a fun fighter I think)
I'll be there for sure!

Not to be a smug know it all mma guy... but Jeff Monson has to improve to beat Wes Sims? LOL! It's Wes sims. He's barely good enough to be in hammer house. And that's saying something.

I agree clearly he has a sizeable skill advantage and should win the fight but any time you have a height advantage that large it can present problems. Although Sylvia is clearly superior to Sims Monson looked tenative to takedown the big guy. I am just hoping he learned how to put on an entertaining fight.

MMA show tonight headlined by pro wrestlers canceled at the last minute
Dave@wrestlingobserver.com
The debut show of Wayne DeMilia's Global Fighting Championships scheduled for tonight at the Mohegan Sun Casino was canceled one hour before the 8 p.m. start time.
It was announced the show was canceled due to not having enough matches. Multiple fighters, including headliner Mark Kerr, failed to pass their medical testing yesterday and at last minute, the promotion was unable to get replacements.
Kerr was scheduled to face Sean O'Haire in the main event. It had been rumored Kerr was nearly 300 pounds going into the fight. His weight yesterday at weigh-ins was 289.5 pounds, and after weigh-ins, he was not allowed to fight due to high blood pressure.
Edwin Dewees, who had to cut significant weight because he came in heavy, after cutting, failed to pass his testing as well believed to be from high blood pressure. Dewees weighed 193 pounds for a fight contracted at 185, and was given two hours to make weight. He came less than a pound from making it.
