Honorable Mentions go to in no order; Randy "The Natural" Couture 15-8 (as a LHW 4-3) Probably never see him fight at this weight class at the level he was fighting at during his reign. Probably... Jeremy Horn 79-15-5 He has a stellar record and is a great fighter to tier off of. Recent wins over Falaniko Vitale and Chael Sonnen don't rate him in the top ten but give him an honorable mention. Igor "Ice Cold" Vovchanchyn 45-9-1 He hasn't fought in over a year but Igor is very good at 205 and he is only 34 years old. Igor still got some cold left in him and I wouldn't be shocked to see him freeze hell over(upset a few top fighters). Glover Teixeira 4-2 Maybe he was lucky... maybe he is the next superstar in the making about to hit that cusp into the next level. This man did something that two of our top ten fighter couldn't in just 1:41. Maybe hes... Ryoto "Lyoto" Machida 10-0 This guy is a future headliner. Inoki saw it. I see it. Lets see how long he can last in a fight with Chuck or Tito or even better let him at that flash in the pan Sokoudjou. Keith Jardine 12-2-1 Has a great record in the UFC. Forest Griffin 13-4 Should have broke Tito's leg and avoided Keith Jardine but if he was that kind of person he wouldn't be who he is. Kazuhiro Nakamura 11-6 An excellent fighter who doesn't care if he is overmatched or out of his preferred weight class. Vitor Belfort 15-8 I'd give Vitor a close position below the top ten. He has alot of personal problems and his music sucks. Its a shame about his sister. Misc Vitor facts; This is his wife Joana PradoOn December 21, 2006 he was suspended for nine months from the date of the hearing and fined $10,000 by the NSAC. At PRIDE 32: The Real Deal on October 21, 2006, Belfort lost a unanimous decision to PRIDE Welterweight Champion Dan Henderson (arguably most passive performance ever by Belfort). After the fight, Belfort tested positive for an illegal substance, 4-hydroxytestosterone. In his defense, Belfort argued that he purchased an over the counter supplement known as 'Max Tribustak' at Max Muscle in La Habra, California, which contains 4-Hydroxytestosterone. Belfort also explained that he may have received 4-Hydroxytestosterone as the result of rehabilitative injections given to him by Brazilian endocrinologist Dr. Rodrigo M. Greco after his surgery to repair a torn meniscus in his knee in the summer of 2006. The NSAC eventually received a statement from Dr. Greco stating that he did give Belfort post surgical injections containing testosterone. While conceding that Belfort may have not known about the testosterone, the NSAC explained that even if Belfort was given injections by a medical practictioner who did not inform him that they contained anabolic steroids, it would still be a violation of the banned substances policy I found out about this recently; * Feiticeira is Joana Prado stagename it is also a track on the Deftone's 2000 album "White Pony" "The first word on 'Feiticeira' is 'kcuf'. It's not 'Stop' like the official lyrics says. And right after he says 'New murderer...' there's another hidden 'kcuf'. Chino told me it has to be that way, otherwise 'White Pony' would get a 'parental advisory' stick on it. . About "White Pony" 1st track "Feiticeira", Chino Moreno said: "It's named after a Brazilian female, but it's lyrically about a kidnapping scenario." This Brazilian female that Chino talks about, is one of the most wanted women in Brazil. She's a sex symbol. Her trademark is a veil she uses and of course her body and sexy lingerie (few lingerie just the essential). She became famous in a TV show where only men could participate - The host asked a few questions (really hard ones) then if the player fails "Feiticeira" began to hurt him, like for example shaving is leg with wax, shaving his head...she really embarrassed men for being so greedy, but in the other hand if they get the right answer (a few made) then "Feiticeira" concede him a wish...like staying with her alone...get into love games with her, everything except sex! In Portuguese "Feiticeira" means witch... That's why she was named "Feiticeira", because she makes magic between men..." Kinda strange... On January 9th 2004 Vitor's sister, Priscila Belfort was kidnapped and murdered. Rashad Evans 10-0

THE TOP TEN STARTS HERE10. ALISTAIR OVEREEM 24-10 He was one of the four semi-finalists at the PRIDE 2005 middle-weight tournament, losing to Chute Boxe fighter Mauricio Rua. Alistair fights are entertaining and he has made some big mistakes in his fights. Against Chuck he layed off his assault after he got Chuck bloody and got KTFO. He did well in the open weight tournament. Alistair still has star power in Japan and is only 27. 9. TITO ORTIZ 15-5 He is 32. He has destroyed the Lion's Den(in the UFC). He was the most dominent light heavyweight UFC champion. Every fight he is in be you against him or for him is exciting. All the way back to his first encounter with Guy Mezger it was there. His talent shown through. Tito recently bought De La Hoya's Big Bear Estate for 2.1 millon. Has been 5-2 since 2004. With decision wins over Cote, Griffin, and Belfort. Trumps Belfort twice in beating him in the octagon and dating Jenna Jameson(score!). The future look bright for Tito he just has to keep winning. Losing to Evans will bad for him. Dana White been smeering him and it looks like Tito has been all about Tito for awhile now and not one of the boys. Frank Shamrock is a looming shadow over Tito. I know he wants to bash Frank's face in and I can see Frank waiting for the opportunity to start trash talking and making things happen. Frank vs. Phil Baroni is what Frank needs to establish himself back in the eyes of the MMA world. Gracie battles don't do that anymore. 8. RENATO SOBRAL 27-7 6SEP03 IFC Global Domination LHW tournament. One of the most stacked talentwise one night tournament cards in US history(especially nowadays). "Babalu" goes through Trevor Prangley, "Shogun" Rua, and Jeremy Horn in the finals to take the tournament! He is the only man at 205 to beat Shogun and he choked him out! Granted Shogun probably learn alot from his current battles and I doubt that outcome would happen again. Babalu made a huge mistake against Chuck and paid for it. He has been knocked out recently by Jason Lambert. Renato is on shaky ground right now and could lose his footing. He is only 31 and Babalu could still shake up this talented divison yet. (Maria Fernanda is his daughter's name)

7. Rogerio 'MINOTORO' Nogueira 12-3 Little Nog has that win over Dan Henderson that still give him footing here. Sokoudjou rocked his world and shocked alot of people. Minotoro has gotta want a rematch after the Pan-American games this year. I am not counting out this man. He could be champion by next year if he played his cards right( get Gabriel Gonzaga's agent). Minotoro will turn 31 in June. 6. RAMEAU THIERRY SOKOUDJOU 4-1 That glare burning in your eyes is the upset kid(hes 23). The thorn in the side of the Brazilian Top Team. He moved to the United States from his native Cameroon six years ago to pursue his Olympic aspirations in Judo. He won the 2001 U.S. Open Judo Championship in the open weight division and earned a bronze medal in 2003. Also in 2003, Sokoudjou defeated two-time World Champion and Olympic sliver medalist Shinichi Shinohara. Due to visa complications, he was unable to compete in the Olympic Trials and turned his focus to the sport of mixed martial arts. He trains with PRIDE welterweight champion Dan Henderson at the Team Quest MMA Fitness Center in Murrieta, Calif. 5. RICARDO ARONA 13-5 The Brazilian Tiger. 28 years old. This man held off both Fedor and Wand. In Pride's Middleweight (205 lbs) Grand Prix he defeated Dean Lister, Sakuraba, and Wanderlei Silva before falling in the finals to Shogun. His title shot was an iffy decision loss. Defeated Alistair last year and recently got dropped by Sokoudjou. See below Arona claims he suffered from a dengue fever, before a KO loss to Rameau Thierry Sokoudjou... One would assume this means he is getting a rematch or wanting one. Has victories over Dan Henderson,Jeremy Horn, Guy Mezger, and Ninja Rua.

4. QUINTON 'RAMPAGE' JACKSON 26-6 Coming into the Japanese promotion as a hitherto unknown quality fighter against their flagship athlete - Japanese sensation and fellow wrestler - Kazushi Sakuraba at PRIDE 15, Jackson astounded audiences by taking the fight to Sakuraba in what is widely recognized as one of the sports' most exciting contests. He is one of three people to defeat Liddell, after Jeremy Horn and Randy Couture. He went on to defeat Ikuhisa Minowa and Ricardo Arona (becoming only the second fighter to defeat Arona, after Fedor Emelianenko). His showdown with Chuck is coming later this month! I am routing for Jackson! He will be the first african american LWH champion in UFC history(Maurice Smith, Carlos Newton, and Kevin Randleman all captured titlesin a different weight classes). Best friends with Tito Ortiz has effected his career probably in both his skill and his relations with promotions. Things couldn't be any better for Rampage. Sans a win on the 26th. He recently won a close decision victory over Matt Lindland. 3. WANDERLEI SILVA 31-7-1 www.wanderleisilva.com.br/br/He holds notable wins over Kazushi Sakuraba, Ricardo Arona, Dan Henderson, Quinton Jackson, Guy Mezger, Eugene Jackson, and Kazuhiro Nakamura. He is the former Pride middleweight champion and the PRIDE 2003 GP champion, among others. 25Mar01 to 24FEB07 held the 205 lbs Pride Middleweight strap. 2. DAN HENDERSON 22-5 Dan Henderson has got to love life. He holds two belts and his future is secure as a top fighter. This guy has got to be looking foword to some big paydays. Lets look at all of Hollywood's big wins; *Brazil Open Fight Brazil Open '97 winner *RINGS 1999 King of Kings Absolute Tournament winner *UFC 17 Middleweight Tournament winner *PRIDE Fighting Championship 2005 Welterweight Tournament winner *PRIDE Fighting Championship Middleweight title 24Feb07- *PRIDE Fighting Championship Welterweight title 31Dec05- Holy crap! This man is decorated! His biggest victories against Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira(Big Nog), Renato Sobral, Murilo Rua, Ryo Chonan, Yuki Kondo, Renzo Gracie, Murilo Bustamante, Kazuo Misaki, Vitor Belfort, and Wanderlei Silva.

1. Mauricio "Shogun" Rua 16-2 Shogun hails from Chute Boxe Academy in Curitiba, Brazil, a Muay Thai training group which has produced champions like Wanderlei Silva. He is the younger brother of Murilo "Ninja" Rua, a fellow Chute Boxe member. Mauricio is known for his Muay Thai ability.. Shogun's only losses have been to Renato Sobral at IFC tournament "Global Domination" on September 6, 2003 by submission (guillotine choke) in the third round, along with a loss to Mark Coleman at PRIDE 31 via referee stoppage when Rua broke his arm following a takedown by Coleman in which he landed in awkwardly. After the elbow injury, Shogun Rua returned to the ring on September 10, 2006 to face French striker Cyrille Diabate. Mauricio Shogun defeated Diabate via TKO (stomps). On October 21 Rua defeated the American Kevin Randleman with a kneebar two minutes into the first round . In a recent interview Rua said that he wants to fight in the middleweight GP in 2007, and fight as a heavyweight in 2008. THE LIGHT HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPION OF THE WORLDCHUCK "THE ICEMAN" LIDDELL 20-3 He is the face of UFC. A top draw.

Fightsport 24-7 Light Heavyweight top ten for April 1.) Mauricio 'Shogun' Rua Brazil 2.) Ricardo Arona Brazil 3.) Dan Henderson USA 4.) Vanderlei Silva Brazil 5.) Quinton 'Rampage' Jackson USA 6.) Chuck Liddell USA 7.) Rameau Thierry Sokoudjou Cameroon 8.) Rogerio 'Minotoro' Nogueira Brazil 9.) Alistair Overeem Holland 10.) Vitor Belfort Brazil
MMA Weekly for the month of May(2 other websites agreed with this I just found this today) LIGHT HEAVYWEIGHT DIVISION (205-pound limit)
#1 Light Heavyweight Fighter in the World: Chuck Liddell 2. Mauricio "Shogun" Rua 3. Dan Henderson 4. Wanderlei Silva 5. Rameau Thierry Sokoudjou 6. Ricardo Arona 7. Antonio Rogerio Nogueira 8. Quinton Jackson 9. Tito Ortiz 10. Kazuhiro Nakamura
I don't think Sobral gets enough credit for his tournament wins nor does Jeremy Horn on the world circuit. Nakamura is a little overated.

QFT Maybe double header with a Shogun- Evans/Tito winner No the double header would be Chuck Wandy undercard for the Rampage/Henderson fight. Yeah right that wouldn't happen. You see the next fight card? I doubt theyed stack up a card like. If we really got that world series or dream card they've been talking about I'd like to see; LHW Henderson vs. Rampage (unification) Wand vs. Chuck Liddel Shogun vs. Tito/Evans winner Rameau Thierry Sokoudjou vs. Ricardo Arona Houston Alexander vs. Ryoto Machida Those five matches alone would cost UFC alot of money. (then again forget about signing Kurt Angle and Brock Lesner, Dana White! Make this happen!)

The bottom half stays the same. UFC 71 reinforces my POV with 10. ALISTAIR OVEREEM 24-10 His recent loses sans Werdum were against the top tier of this division. His two victories over Vitor in the past two year are reason enough for this placement. 9. TITO ORTIZ 15-5 Whats Tito going to do know that one of his best buddies is the champ? That plan he talked about seems unrealistic with Dan and Rampage being a reality. cotg.proboards12.com/index.cgi?board=shoot&action=display&thread=1177800646&page=1#11778006468. RENATO SOBRAL 27-7 Babalu is very... very good. He needs to get back into the game though. 7. Rogerio 'MINOTORO' Nogueira 12-3 Is preparing for the pan american games. 6. RAMEAU THIERRY SOKOUDJOU 4-1 www.mmanews.com/pride/Exclusive:-Sokoudjou-On-Silva-AronaLil-Nog-More-%5BPt.-1%5D.htmlHis disneyland vacation is fighting Wandy Silva.... 5. RICARDO ARONA 13-5 He was sick against Sokoudjou and robbed in the decision against Silva. He has got to get back on track. 4. CHUCK "THE ICEMAN" LIDDELL 20-4 Chuck is honorable I guess. For wanting to avenge losses but he now has three people he needs to fight and a hosts of doubts now weather he can handle Little Nog and Sokoudjou. I love it. It makes shoot more interesting. 3. QUINTON 'RAMPAGE' JACKSON 27-6 Lets let him change the face of the UFC! Lets let him change it to something more resembling an Americanized PRIDE! Kick IFL in the nuts and grab Quatros and Bas and fire those nut huggers Rogan and Goldberg! Yes! 2. WANDERLEI SILVA 31-7-1 Silva's got challenges and has said he'd like to fight Chuck and Sokoudjou. What I want to see is Silva and Tito. That will end alot of speculation if Silva wins. He holds notable wins over Kazushi Sakuraba, Ricardo Arona, Dan Henderson, Quinton Jackson, Guy Mezger, Eugene Jackson, and Kazuhiro Nakamura. He is the former Pride middleweight champion and the PRIDE 2003 GP champion, among others. 25Mar01 to 24FEB07 held the 205 lbs Pride Middleweight strap. 1. Mauricio "Shogun" Rua 16-2 Shogun has signed with the UFC. Which direction are they going to go with him? He wants to fight in the heavyweight division next year. I think Shogun is betting on Silva coming out of 2008 as champ once more. THE LIGHT HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPION OF THE WORLD DAN HENDERSON 22-5 Dan Henderson has got to love life. You know what a I get a kick out of... when a Pride fighter beats a ufc guy he gets bummed up the rankings no questioned asked. If you try and to the same thing with a UFC fighter over the Pride you get nothing but lip. Oh well I'll be happy when Dan does away with Page. War Team quest.

Troll you? Duce... I HATE RAMPAGE JACKSON YOU EGO MANIAC! I loath his slack jawed hick butt out of Mephis. That has nothing to do with you. If you died tommorrow I would still hate Rampage Jackson.
And (watch this) Jackson proved me wrong. For the time being... he's proven himself to be a real champ. See that... unlike you I can admit when I'm wrong.
But I still hate the guy.

Yeah, he's kind of like a black version of me, only, he's in shape and a bad a$$ BTW- Duce, have you and habs gotten that room I suggested to work out your sexual tension.
