Is this guy still fighting? I really enjoyed watching him fight when he was on. Unfortunately he wasn't always on.

He's still around and won last night against a nobody on a noname card. He's lost like five of his last eight fights and is pretty much done. A lot of people believe he lost his fire when his sister was kidnapped and later killed.

Habbalah is right the riods is what really killed him. He could do the sequel to Smashing Machine...

That is really unfortunate. I really enjoyed watching him fight.

his cheapy eye cut against coutrue non withstanding, beating Wanderlei all those years ago was his biggest accomplishment. He floundered in recent years. It is sad because he did have so much potential.

Alot of his fights changed the flow of MMA fighting. See Vitor vs Sakuraba, Vitor vs. Couture I, and Vitor vs. Tank. They are still entertaining to watch to.

On December 21, 2006 he was suspended for nine months from the date of the hearing and fined $10,000 by the NSAC. At PRIDE 32: The Real Deal on October 21, 2006, Belfort lost a unanimous decision to PRIDE Welterweight Champion Dan Henderson (arguably most passive performance ever by Belfort). After the fight, Belfort tested positive for an illegal substance, 4-hydroxytestosterone. In his defense, Belfort argued that he purchased an over the counter supplement known as 'Max Tribustak' at Max Muscle in La Habra, California, which contains 4-Hydroxytestosterone. Belfort also explained that he may have received 4-Hydroxytestosterone as the result of rehabilitative injections given to him by Brazilian endocrinologist Dr. Rodrigo M. Greco after his surgery to repair a torn meniscus in his knee in the summer of 2006. The NSAC eventually received a statement from Dr. Greco stating that he did give Belfort post surgical injections containing testosterone. While conceding that Belfort may have not known about the testosterone, the NSAC explained that even if Belfort was given injections by a medical practictioner who did not inform him that they contained anabolic steroids, it would still be a violation of the banned substances policy

This Brazilian female that Chino talks about, is one of the most wanted women in Brazil. She's a sex symbol. Her trademark is a veil she uses and of course her body and sexy lingerie (few lingerie just the essential). She became famous in a TV show where only men could participate - The host asked a few questions (really hard ones) then if the player fails "Feiticeira" began to hurt him, like for example shaving is leg with wax, shaving his head...she really embarrassed men for being so greedy, but in the other hand if they get the right answer (a few made) then "Feiticeira" concede him a wish...like staying with her alone...get into love games with her, everything except sex! In Portuguese "Feiticeira" means witch... That's why she was named "Feiticeira", because she makes magic between men..."

On January 9th 2004 Vitor's sister, Priscila Belfort was kidnapped and murdered.
