Nothing wrong at all with crying after you lose. Sports are emotional outlets, and after you train hard for two months, working eight to nine hours days, and denying yourself some of life's luxuries only to come up short is truly heartbreaking.
Plus if Forrest won here, he was probably next for the title shot, so he now has to wait a little for his dream to come to fruition.

Here, here. Greater men than Forrest have broken down after a fight and there's nothing wrong with it. I'm sure he'll bounce back. On a off note I really want to see Bisping fight Jardine now.

Actually, I've always liked Forrest and think he won the Tito fight. My biggest problem was not that he was crying but that now that he got his clock cleaned he didn't want to "Man up" and do the interview and ran back to the locker room. I was a little "lit" when I wrote it, that's probably why I wrote "Lick a baby" when I obviously meant like a baby. If you lose, at least stand there and face the music, which leads me to...
Let me start this off by saying I hate Tito about as much as any MMA'er. I have to give him credit in that he is a good loser. Both times he lost to Chuck he made no excuses at the time. He made the "I got poked in the eye" excuse after the fact. He faced the music when he lost, Forrest did not. The main reason I hate Tito is that he is a sore winner. Had he beat Chuck we would have gotten the whole retarded Grave digger crap and some stupid T-shirt saying something like "I melted the Iceman." If he was half as classy when he wins as he is in defeat he would be an even bigger Icon in MMA and not have been booed as much at the end.
Habbalah, I'm on the "whoever beats Timmy" bandwagon. I don't hate him as a person but he is the most boring championship fighter I've ever seen. I suppose he sells PPV's since 75% of the people are buying in hopes that he loses. You really need to get off the "I must badmouth you because you disagreed with vansabu" bandwagon. He's a big boy, he can defend his own opinions. I've joked with him but he hasn't responded. Yet you seem to want to be his bodyguard and keep taking shots at me. Getting back to your MMA thoughts - I love Bisping as well as Jardine. I think Bisping needs a little seasoning. I seriously think he needs to hook up with a top team in America/Brazil/Japan. England is a MMA wasteland and if he continues to train there it will catch up with him.

Chuck Liddell vs Tito Ortiz 2tinyurl.com/szw6g Forrest Griffin vs Keith Jardinetinyurl.com/yzlqcmExcellent point Swarm. There's nothing abnormal about the stress of losing being momentarily 'too much' for someone to deal with in a public setting. Imagine the pressure of being in a position where you're locked inside of a cage after intensely training for weeks to either knock out or make your opponent submit...and then a few minutes in everything crashes as you suffer the nightmare of being knocked out in front of a live audience with thousands watching on PPV....with everything else you now have to deal with in your life professionally now being negatively effected by what just happened. It's a tough spot for anyone to be in and process 'at that moment'...especially when a microphone is shoved in your face and you're asked to speak about it almost immediately thereafter.
LWPD (the best inside look I've ever seen on how the pressure of training, injuries, drugs, a bad relationship and just 'life itself' can have on an MMA athlete in defeat was the Smashing Machine Documentary which chronicled the rise and fall of Mark Kerr...and after his loss to Igor....MK did exactly what Forrest did last night...it's only natural)

Thanks for sharing the Smashing Machine footage, LWPD. It's an excellent look at MMA and the pressures, check it out if you haven't seen it before! I am so excited to see Liddell vs. Jackson eventually and I can't wait to see Cro Cop in the UFC. As Tim mentioned to me today, Cro Cop might have a hard time kicking Silva in the head since he's 6'8". It will be exciting to see Mirko shake things up in the heavyweight division. I think Griffin and Ortiz were both dealt set backs last night, but they're both young enough to overcome these obstacles. I'd like to see both of them against Jackson too. As LWPD mentioned before, that was some amazing sprawling by Liddell to dodge the takedowns. He looked so tough last night!

So kay most people were lit yesterday. I had the funniest dream that the Mega punk beat Yoshida and Mark hunt almost tapped out Fedor. I have a silly imagination.
I use to hate him. After season 3 after his excellent PR campaign I feel indifferent towards him.
I'm sure he would had some crappy t shirt for Randy but he was to busy being spanked on his rear and crying to bust it out. Your point? I've said this before. MMA needs a few jerks. Don't get me wrong I like respect to. A few hand shakes, a few bows, but it also needs the Frank Triggs, the Matt Hugh's, the Cro Cop's, you know the straight up jaggs. The sport would be rather boring if no one acted like a tool every once in a while.
With all due respect I beleive those are called in prowrestling terms a "mark." Don't get me wrong I've done it to, but if your buying a show to see someone possibly lose and he's getting your money that fighter just owned you. Hell Chuck's been doing it to me for a while now (cept last night I didn't get my hopes up for Tito).
If your being sarcastic you shouldn't be. Spot on (lol).
Ah I might be inclined to agree but if you've read Bisping's interveiws he goes on to seriously defend his camp out in England. He said he thought the hype about American mma training was just that, hype. I'll be happy to see when he gets his wake up call.
I don't mind the idea of letting him get more seasoned to fight Jardine but in all honesty I think he's ready now. Oh sure it might be better to hype a match like that for a while with two big ufc stars but Bisping's weakness being on the ground and in all honesty Jardine most likely won't take him there. I like his talent but his remarks in many of his online interviews come of as making him look extremely full of himself. I just want to see him beat some half way decent fighters to justify his over enflated ego.
