Here's an odds 'snapshot' for tomorrow's card. Should be a solid recovery from the last debacle!

Nice looking card. I'm really impressed with Koscheck, he's been doing great...Sanchez over Riggs...Joe has struggled against many an opponent in the fights I've seen him in, he needs to get it together, how can they keep booking him if he continues to lose.

After a rough first fight the rest of the card was solid and featured some great young talent. Karo showed great heart and has reestablished himself after some tough losses. Joslin was working a sweet textbook GSP style inner thigh kick (as taught in the MMA Archives) but Kos showed awesome athleticism. Nobody from TUF has improved their skills more on an all around level. Diego is for real...has been for a while now. He always fights to finish and I've never seen a 'bad' fight from him. Hopefully he'll start getting paid what he's worth.

Shonie Carter vs. Marcus Davis opens the TV show.
First round saw Davis take Carter down and got his back and worked for a choke. Davis has improved his game a lot. With 90 seconds left, Carter reversed and worked from the guard throwing elbows. Crowd is heavily pro-Carter, who is a former marine and the bigger name. I'd give the round to Davis, but it was close.
Second round was all Davis. He kept rocking Carter with jabs, even putting him down once early. Carter was more hanging on and trying to survive most of the round. Carter was bleeding from the nose and eye by the end of the round.
Even third round and uneventful. Mostly standing and circling. I'd give it to Carter as he connected on a few kicks, but it was close. I've got Davis 29-28 but you could argue 29-27 easily and give Davis a 10-8 second round, or even 30-28 and give the third round even.
Scores were 30-26, 29-28 and 30-27 for Davis
Drew Fickett vs. Karo Parisyan is next.
Round one was all standing. Parisyan connected with a lot of punches and got a takedown. He wasn't able to implement his judo, but wasn't trying all that hard to do so. Parisyan's round.
A hell of a round. Parisyan took Fickett down but Fickett connected with an elbow from the bottom that opened a nasty cut under the eye. Parisyan's cut looked bad and he realized it might be stopped. He went wild and busted Fickett up. Late in the round, Fickett took Parisyan down and went wild with elbows to the cut. Very close round but I'd give it to Parisyan, but Parisyan seems to be the more tired of the two. Blood in both cases is a factor here.
Parisyan picked Fickett apart standing and got several takedowns. He easily won the round and the fight. I think he was a little afraid to open up because of the fear a good counter count make his cut worse because the worst thing would have been to dominate and lose on a blood stoppage. Very good fight here and both guys got a big hand when it was over.
I'd go 30-27 Parisyan, so we'll see.
All three judges also had it 30-27.
Josh Koscheck vs. Jeff Joslin is up next.
First round saw Koscheck get two takedowns, but couldn't do much once he got Joslin on the ground as Joslin had good defense. Koscheck was cut and got rocked once standing. Very close round, I'm guessing Koscheck gets it but this is going to be a tough night for Koscheck.
Second round was interesting. Joslin got the better of the stand-up. Koscheck started taking him down. Koscheck is the best guy in MMA that I've seen in the ability to follow through on a takedown. Joslin nearly had a triangle at the bell to end the round. Another close round. I'd give it to Joslin but I have a feeling the judges won't. The takedowns were just so impressive by Koscheck.
Joslin couldn't stop his takedown again. This time Koscheck did some damage on top and cut Joslin up. Still, even at the end Joslin was throwing more ineffective strikes from the bottom than Koscheck was from the top. Koscheck won the round, though. I'd like to see Joslin brought back. He fought three hard rounds.
I've got 29-28 for Koscheck but I'm guessing we get straight 30-27s. Yep, all 30-27s.
Diego Sanchez vs. Joe Riggs main event is up next. It would do this show some good to have a finish here, but I figured this on a night of decisions.
Holy crap. Sanchez decked him with a right hook, hit a hard running knee and threw 3 punches on the ground and this was history early in round one. I guess Riggs didn't have the stand-up advantage we all thought. If Sanchez gets a title shot, it's going to do some big business.
