Actually got into this at work. What's the worst weightclass in the UFC? The lightweight or the heavyweight? For my money, it's the heavyweight. I can't remember the last time there was a good heavyweight title match in the UFC.

Lightweights have some good talent, and with the belt up for grabs at the PPV, it has yet to gel and develop.
Of the two classes mentioned, I'd say Heavies. Nobody in that division really inpresses me- all are pretty much one dimensional.
Overall, I'd say 185 is weakest. Franklin and Silva are tough and then.... ? Marquardt? They relegated that guy to a dark match tonight, which shows how much faith they have in him.

Hadn't thought about the middleweights. I think I'd still say that the heavyweight division is worse off, because at least there are two interesting fighters in that one, plus who ever comes out of Ultimate Fighter 4 will be a boost to that division, particularly if it's Cote.

I would have to say heavies. Silva is a joke and it only gets worse the further down you go.

Heavyweights. It's the worst weight class in the world including boxing.

I will say HW too, because there's a lot lacking there. I think that the UFC need to find some guys to compete that can bring it and make it into a reputable division again. Seems like all the TUF guys that were HW, dropped down a class, so it killed that off.

Why not combine the heavyweight and the lightheavyweight titles, some...almost all the lights can defeat most heavies to begin with.
