(could been worse you could be calling me Mags lol) Speaking of that place It was kinda annoying reading some of the responces to that match. I kinda agree with it being a match of the year but I don't see how Karo got robbed.
Still my favorite part of ultiamte fight night was Kos getting lippie with the net.

I read a lot of that Karo/ Diego stuff and whereas I can see a case for Karo winning, I just do not feel he did. I fell a split decision would have been a more appropriate outcome, but that is just splitting hairs.
what the heck is "lippie with the net."?

Lippie, you know, back talk. The net, you know the internet.
As for the split decision i use to think like you till i saw one of the better responces I've ever seen at S. Dog.
"Do you really think when the 3 judges are figuring out the fight they sit down and say "Hay one of us better pick the other guy to show it's close." And then i relized that was silly. .
It's one of those odd situations where people can't understand why
Vitor lost to Tito Penn lost to GSP ANd Randleman lost to Bas.
No one got robbed in any of those fights and Karo wasn't robbed in his recent bout.

This weeks fight was a real blood bath...which made for a bad visual. I agreed with letting it go...but I can see a scene like that being used in a negative media piece against the 'blood sport'. Carter and Dewees have now both advanced but taken real beatings in the process...I can't see professional MMA fighters at this level (and on average older ages than previous TUFs) going through a condensed elimination fight process without the show having to go to alternates or the fighters risking serious injury. Time will tell.
LWPD (in the preview for next week's episode Serra was right about the incoming grappling coach Marc Laimon...who's good at sport/point style BJJ...but has accomplished nothing in MMA...and has no credibility when he talks smack about MMA fighters)

Man, Babyface was gushing all over the place!!! I have a pretty good stomache and it didn't bother me, but my girl friend couldn't watch that blood pour out of his head like that! I was even thinking "wow that is a lot of blood."

The last Welterweight Semi-Final between Carter and Serra is tonight. Should make for the best episode of this season...which from an entertainment stand point may not be saying much.
LWPD (while I give credit to the UFC for at least attempting a unique concept with the 'comeback/veterans second chance' hook...the experiment in practice has seen a marked drop off in interest...live and learn)

I hope Carter destroys Serra this week. I've really grown to hate Serra during this show. He's jealous of almost anyone who's more successful than he is and he gossips like an old hen behind everyone's back.

I like Matt's personality- he may be a bit whiny, but he simply tells it as he feels.

Matt Serra wins !!!! HELL yes!!! Shonie Carter is a pure putz, what a jackass!! I think it would be difficult to have 20 people in the same room hate you!!!! He has proven me wrong. Go Serra!!!

Tonight is the first Middleweight Semi-Final:
Pete Sell vs Travis Lutter
LWPD (neither one of these guys has a realistic shot at beating Anderson Silva...and with Lutter's personality...selling that fight to the casual fans as a main event worth paying for would be a real uphill battle...he's certainly no Rich Franklin)

Travis won and he is a quiet , private guy thats all business...Actually it could be marketed as the cocky champ VS. the working mans champion...

Yeah, Silva is a pretty humble guy himself, and if lutter is going to rely on a cut from short elbows against silva he is going to be in for a long night.

Tonight is the final fight for TUF 4 Middleweight Finalist Spot:
Patrick Cote vs Edwin Dewees
LWPD (who is more looking forward to watching the return of Michael Bisping than either of the two weight class finals...although I hope Matt Serra wins and immediately drops to 155 lbs...he'd be more of an asset to that division)
