He's in my basement, and will stay there until he explains why the Alpha Stone caused Alpha Forces' arm to glow if it had no real power. ;D

Yikes! That was something like 15 years ago...I guess this proves you can never hide from your past. I better get outta here while the going is good...the next topic might be Sectarian.

I have wife beaters. Tom has Sectarian and the Alpha Stone. We all have our crosses to bear.
And by the way, in lieu of cash, I'll also accept beer. But the good stuff. No Coors Light.

Next time, don't come up with a pretty good idea, a fairly strong card, an ugly drawing, and some of the worst interviews of alltime if you don't want people talking.

Hey the drawing wasn't THAT bad.... and a SE card replaced it a year later anyway. Besides, isn't there a statute of limitations on stuff? Tom's served his time... 15 years later, I think that he's more than made up for it with terrific characters and plots that were perfectly executed. I mean, no one gave you a real hard time about choking in the tournaments with Monolith.... people need to ease up on AF. JMO

I agree, the whole Alpha stone thing wasn't that bad... it WAS corny, but in a 70s Marvel Comics Retcon sorta way, not terrible, imo. .. and I LIKED Sectarian... whats not to love about a semi-sentient monkey beating up a pretty boy like Vanity The horror that was the All-Earth squad, however, doesn't deserve forgiveness.

Actually I was talking about Sectarian for the ugly drawing........and I like the guy but his drawing was just terrible.....and being Terak's...underling just did nothing for me.

That's it, I'm making a bootleg called "Wifebeater Wearing, Alpha Stone Powered Sectarian". Just because I love Sectarian, I loved the Alpha Stone, and I like to wear wifebeaters while being nice to my wife. Just for the irony of it all.
Yeah, I probably wont.
But someone should.

JMO You make a good point Mike M. Here we are making fun of Tom for a couple of small errors, out of hundreds of characters, stories, and plots, and two decades of great work ; when I doubt any of us could have done half as good a job. COTG has brought much happiness into our lives as evident by this very web site. And yet some of us, me included, insist on nitpicking on a couple picayune incidences like we're paragons of perfection. We ought to be ashamed of ourselves. In-fact the next person who snidely brings up the Alpha Stone, or Secretariat, or some other minor error from long ago, I will personaly... send out the Guardsman to bite you. ;D

Still the most infamous mistake has to be Guardsman's bite to the head.

Hey when I played back in the day I loved the Sectarian character and I liked the artwork. Sheesh talk about a tough crowd. But now I am back at the beginning and working through it again.
