Ok, so not a sighting yet, but in all strangeness he is supposed to be appearing at our local Wal-Mart (Covina, CA) on this upcoming Sunday. According to the flier, he is supposed to be signing whatever you bring him to sign for $10 a pop. Tom, want me to go and see about getting some revenge...LOL Honestly, a few months back RVD was at the same Wal-Mart and he showed up and stayed for half the day. At this point, though, I'd boycott it just because Valentine has screwed Tom over twice now.

Just ask him innocently where he appeared last weekend...although a straight question like that might make him suspicious.

people would honestly pay $10 to see Valentine? if it were his late father I'd pay triple that, but Greg... I wouldnt pay 10 cents to see him *chuckle*

I would ask him if everyone in his family was OK. Who knows, maybe someone was really sick. I have left work a couple of times due to family illness. It is possible that the guy had a legitimate excuse this time.

Go and ask him how he felt about working with Krakan in the far flung future.
The look on his face alone will be worth the restraining order.

Cakejedi is absolutely right to try to be sympathetic and see things from Greg's point of view. I respect that. The reason I'm not buying is he played the family emergency card the last time and it turned out to be untrue. This time even if there actually was a family illness he could have picked up his cell phone and called to say he couldn't make it. If I had a family illness I wouldn't just no-show my job; I'd call or have someone call for me.
It's now five days later and he still hasn't called me to say something, anything. That speaks volumes.

Well Tom, you did say that his wife called you for his no-show, so he did have a family member call. It may have been after the 1st day, I can't remember when you said that she called.
If it was after the 1st day, then he's a total poser.
So, if anyone goes to see him at Wal-Mart, take your LOW card for him and have him sign it. Then, kick him in the balls and tell him it's from the Motor City Posse!

She didn't call on her own. She called on the second day of the con after we left repeated phone messages inquiring about his whereabouts.
I'll drop it now. Needless to say, I have formed my views on this matter. From here on I'd rather focus my attention on Dead Ringer and Subversion 2121.

Tom, all I'm saying is that if you auction off the poster(s) this year, it will fetch megabank. I for one will outbid ANYONE for the chance to light my grill with it this summer. Heck, I'll even get an Angus burger with cheddar with your name on it.
This summer, it's all about the HELLFIRE!!!

Man this sucks! What is going on in that man's head? He is given all these opportunities to give back to the fans and this is how he repays everyone and the business. I can only wonder what his father would think about all this.

If he cared about what his father thought, then he would have been at the HOF induction ceremony....but he no-showed that one too.

He doesn't know what he's missing. The COTG universe could've forgiven him once, but twice.....forget it.
