This may have been asked before...
Who would you cast for COTG: The Movie? And what year of COTG (and CPC) would it cover?
Actually, I'm wondering if the movie would be all CGI, this way the characters would look EXACTLY the way both of you pictured. But then, who would provide the voice talent? (Don't worry about actor's salaries, this is more of a wish list!)[/color]

We used to ask this question a lot in the Club Galactica days, mainly which current wrestlers would play which characters (based mostly on looks), but some actors were thrown in, too. I'll have to see if I can dig up some of those old issues, or someone here from the Club days who has them handy might be able to help.
As for voice talent, the company I work for has a division that produces books on tape so that they pretty much sound like movies without the visuals. So if it's voice talent you need that will work for salaries well below the going Hollywood rate (myself included), I got you covered!

Why do a one shot movie? Some of the coolest stuff being put out in animation these days are the episodic stuff like the anime on caroon network even the Clone Wars mini-series.
An animated COTG min-series, say three or four episodes per story arc would be sickkkkkkk.
COTG: The Beginning animated series covering 2087 through 2090. Then when its wildy successful, follow up with COTG: War Games and so forth...

Hmmm... this is just too tempting...
Here are my choices for vocals if this was to be an animated series:
Omega - Robert Duvall Thantos - Lawrence Fushburn Star Warrior - Tom Brady Wolf - Steve Borden Bishop Hell - Sid Haig Lord Nexus - Morgan Freeman Krakan - Lee Van Cleef Commander Sam - Jesse Ventura Morpheus - Willem Dafoe
Anyone else?

I've pictured this in my head many times over the years. I could see an entire season devoted to 2086-2087. As for actors, I wouldn't hazard a guess. I'm always too busy imagining storylines and matches.

This would be cool and I would love to lend my voice talents to a character or more. I have been involved with community theatre for several years.

After seeing Avengers the Movie...I'd rather see an animated style COTG, rather than live action. So much more could be done with animation.

I'd focus on 2087, and my cast would include:
Star Warrior - Paul Walker Thantos - Christian Bale Wolf - Vin Diesel Omega - Sonny Landham Exo King - Ralf Moeller Killer Queen - Johnny Fairplay Brute - Andrew Bryniarski Massacre - Clive Owen Commander Sam - Bruce Willis Pit Viper - Ray Park Lord Nexus - Michael Jai White
Now, how's THAT for a cast?!!

Man, loving this thread... imagining the voice of Doomsayer alone is the best...
MY TOP 5 DOOMSAYER VOICEOVER PICKS: Canadian Pittbull - you wanted it, you got it!
Christopher Walken - You know, I don't think... Monad is quite... fierce enough... MORE COWBELL!
Adam Wast - Perhaps we can run you through the Transevolver again, old chum...
a drunken Russell Crowe - giggling like a lunatic over that one!
Stephen Hawking - the perfectly modulated voice of a genius - perfect choice!

Krakan hasn't been mentioned...I think he could be played by Collin Farrell. He did a great job in Daredevil with Bullseye, and was bald in that too. He may work for that.

How about a COTG Animation movie with the promoters as the voices of the wrestlers?
I could be one of the Greek Gods or Heracles and even speak some greek as well
It would be alot cheaper then hiring actors to do the voices and most if not all will do it for nothing

Oh, I li ke that Jim. I've done some Voiceover work for some of my college chums in their productions (I'm friends with all Telecom majors, for some reason). I have a deep baritone that would fit in well with some of the wrestlers.
Now to just find animators....
