So we have interviewer cards (Qualitar, Bill Apter, etc.), and we have ring announcer cards (Vidtek, Gary Michael Capetta)...any chance of seeing a broadcaster card or two?
LOW has lots of good candidates: Gordon Solie, Mike Tenay, Tony Schiavone, maybe even Joey Styles?
Maybe for COTG, since Tom is the Dark Menace, maybe Mark could be a new broadcaster character.

Where does one get this card? I'm asking because I did a rough sketch of an announcer team for my 2090 fed and I'd love to put some stats on there. Looking for some ideas. I'd love the Vanity/Dragonmaster card, too.

I think a broadcaster card is a good idea, but there won't be one in SUBVERSION 2121. Look for some interesting things like two new managers (!) and a woman wrestler. In fact, one of the new managers IS a female wrestler with a story that'll bring the house down! As for the other manager, he'll have the most bizarre and mysterious relationship with a wrestler than we've ever seen in the GWF. If you're confused don't feel bad... I'm pretty sure the wrestler doesn't know anything about it either...  |

Trent Lawless has always kind of been my personal pet project. Kind of who I'd be if I was a jerk. (And all you folks who know me can just PIPE DOWN now.)
Maybe there'll be some sort of official card for him someday. Dunno. As always, space is prime, and I'd rather give those spots to wrestlers.

Do it up Dark Menace_style, Mark. Release it as a special inclusion with a CPC Ringside Companion. We get all the OFC charts and rules in one place, throw in some special CPC gimmick matches, and then let the Lawless card be the cherry on the Sunday.
For CPC fans, I think a CPC specific companion would be very helpful

The stats for the Dragonmaster/Vanity card were for how to start off a match, which is now covered by the ring announcer cards. I have thought about some new mechanics for broadcasters, which would be enhancements to disadvantages to certain wrestlers based on crowd reaction and importance of the match. Who knows, I may have something by G-con time. Who would the announcers for the GWF and CPC be now anyway? |

Still Qualitar (play-by-play) and Lawless (color) for the CPC. No plans to change that.
As for a CPC Ringside Companion/Lawless card, I wouldn't mind doing it, but that's an up-to-the-boss kind of thing.

Of course you don't really need a broadcaster card...but then you don't really need announcer, interviewer, manager or valet cards either.  All I'm thinking about is options. Speaking of which, a broadcaster card doesn't even need to be in one of the editions; I'd buy it as a SE. |
