I for one would love to see the GWF have a few wrestlers from earth. Any plans to bring them in?

There are three wrestlers already in the GWF who are from Earth (US Male, American Guy and Latasha).
If you need more, the CPC also has a number of wrestlers from Earth- 9 if memory serves (Dante, Pendekar, Quetzal, Mike Fortune, Czar, Sergei, Yuri, Rhiannon, and Xenia).

I always thought there were too many GWF wrestlers from Earth...... Really? There's 3. Latasha and Stars & Stripes. Correct me if I'm wrong.

I think that Matt's point was that the galaxy is a really big place, and having a large number of wrestlers from earth is a bit unrealistic.

I think Matt means too many Earth wrestlers since the game's inception, not just currently. In the past you've had The Greek Gods, Adam Blast, Vlad Hammer, Commander Sam, Mitsuko, Ghengis Khan, etc.

It's too easy to answer for 2121 yet on this topic. I will say this though...Earth has a disproportionate number of wrestlers in the GWF because it's one of the "anchor" planets that supports professional wrestling more than others. The sport of wrestling is a big part of Earth history, but this can't be said for many other planets in the galaxy. So part of the reason is cultural.
How's that for a good made-up reason?

See Tom, that's the genius of it. You can pull that from y our...err...off the top of your head, and it's logical and makes sense. I love it

I reason with myself pretty much how Tom said it. I treat Earth as the "birthplace of pro wrestling", and it will always be a main stay. But as a cornerstone, we have never had a dominate singles wrestler from Earth or at least not in my fed.

But as a cornerstone, we have never had a dominate singles wrestler from Earth or at least not in my fed. ...and I would like to see one. US Patriot had a really successful run in my fed. Once he got the final upgrade with the Larry Snelly artwork, I used him exclusively as a singles wrestler and he went on a tear feuding with Matador and Chaos over the Universal belt. The whole US Traitor storyline broke my heart. Personally, if there's another Earth wrestler I hope its a Japanese wrestler that ctually, you know, wrestles. Don't get me wrong, i loved Rising Sun, but he was basically a martial artist. Wrestling is so popular in Japan and the style is so vastly more physical than what most Americans watch that I think it would be cool to see that reflected in a Japanese character in a new character in the COTG universe.

how about one from south america? neil Even though it doesn't say so specifically in the handbook, I believe that the CPC's Quetzal is South American.
