I think you can look on the COTG website and there's a tab for "New Releases".

Bri's right- but I believe that aCe is scheduled for February and the GWF and CPC are scheduled for a Galacticon release.

Hey Mike! Yes, aCe is scheduled for February...and it's gonna blow everybody away! Some wild angles and edgy stuff.
Subversion 2121 is scheduled for release at G-Con. As for the CPC, it's unclear right now. We may push back the release date to October so that it gets a "push" of its own outside of the GWF shadow.
So see, your question was a good one.

A longer wait, but it would really cool and I think good for the CPC to have a release on it's own!

I don't think I can wait that long. Make it 2007 when we move CPC to October(no wait..that will be Saboteur)>....so difficult....grrrr.

Interesting idea, October makes perfect sense, since that's usually where Mark starts the new angles off in the CPC books...(GENERALLY running from October to December, setting up January).

I like the idea. This means that the GWF would have the main spotlight at Galicticon.

I'd be all for CPC being released at a different time of year, so that we have stuff to look forward to all year round.
How about this starting next year?
GWF - July aCe - October/November CPC - February/March

Good for those who like things cyclical, annoying for those who like to buy things all at once.

As long as everybody's willing to change a 1-year-old's (by that point) diaper as price of admission, then come on over! ;D

I understand what you're saying, Soug, but things have reached a point (wonderfully) where there's simply too much stuff being released to do it that way. We release around 5 game editions a year, counting Legends, and all kinds of other stuff too. We need to spread releases out a bit to retain quality. Also, I talked things over with Kris and Mark and we agree that giving the CPC and aCe separate release dates apart from the GWF allows them to get some of the spotlight that is lost when we release games together. And who knows how long these concepts will last anyway? It's a flexible galaxy with feds coming and going. We were releasing Classics editions regularly for a long time and that's pretty much come to a grinding halt. I never planned for the Centra editions to be indefinite game releases . Kris was a great guy and agreed to help me release a few editions to tie up some loose ends in the Centra storylines. It's very dramatic (especially what's coming in 2120!), but beyond 2121 who knows? The same with the CPC; that might end too, leaving us open for new games and new ideas....new trails to blaze! COTG is an organic universe and one of the main attractions is its unpredictability.

It may cost a little more shipping wise, but I am very happy to hear that we will be getting game editions spread out more during the year. I like the CPC alot, but it gets shoved into the background because it comes out the same time as GWF and at G-con, so I never get to fully appreciate what Mark has worked so much on. Glad to hear you are making the change Tom.
Few things in life make me happier than seeing that Filsinger Games envelope in the mail box, knowing that the next hour or so I'll be enetering the 22nd century to see what new things are going to shape the next few months of my feds.
I like the idea of the GWF being the constant, with other feds popping up here and there and allowing some of the great creative minds in our community a chance to shine. That being said...can February get here already, so I can kick aCe into the next gear. ;D

Todd, you always play one then the other... example: GWF 6 months then cPc 6 months... or whatever you wish. Thats kinda how I do it... one a few months then the other once I get to a good stopping point.

Thats kinda how I do it... one a few months then the other once I get to a good stopping point. I pretty much do that now. The reason I like the spacing out of editions is that it spreads out when we get the handbooks, which is my favorite part of the game year. Right now we are getting the CPC and GWF at the same time, which condences it all into one day. You can tell me to save reading one of the handbooks until later...but that isn't going to happen, its like asking a 7 year old to wait to open a Christmas present another day. There is already so much going on at G-con, I'm glad to hear that CPC will get its own day in the spotlight.
