I was wondering if you ever made alternate plans if the Penthouse/Ishida and OFC/Assassins feuds (or one or the other) went differently? Anything you'd care to share?

Honestly, I didn't make plans for the Assassins beating the OFC. By the time I was finalizing the writing for that edition, there seemed to be little chance Darkos and the gang were going to pull it off.
I do know I had some contingency plans for Brains and Brawn beating the Suite. While the details are a little hazy, I know that two main components were that Colby and Pelf were going to leave for a time and attempt to come back with a monster stable (members to be determined) a couple editions later; and that Cordanus wouldn't give Mensar enough credit for the win, lavishing that on Brainstorm instead, and eventually it would lead to a Mensar face turn.
