Just curious Tom, there are some great Legends bootlegs out there (like Mark's who are very realistic in their stats). Just wondering if you play with any of those.

No, I'm a purist.  No matter what game I play, whether it's Strat-O-Matic or Magic or anything, I only use official cards. Seems silly and probably is, but I don't even use Bust Up even though I created him! |

Not silly at all, Tom. In my mind, using only official cards assures consistency in the game. This, coming from someone who runs an entire promotion made up almost exclusively of bootlegs and another one that has a more-than-slight number of them.
Having said that, I'll have an announcement soon about my own Legends gaming (not that it's really a big deal in the big picture, but, still, there may be some people who are interested.)

As for you not using Bust-Up, Tom, that's not odd. And neither is not using bootlegs. It makes sence, if someone checks out your fed results and saw the name of a guy from someone elses set they might get confused. So it stands to reason that you wouldn't want to do that. The cool thing about this game is that WE can.

I had so many Tex Remington and El Pantera Negro bootlegs that I was using them as coasters for a while. There have been quite a few unconventional uses for the leftover NGO cards.
