Mark and or Tom,
Any chance of the Ninja Assassins making a return? Not the originals but maybe just the gimic.... they did wear masks after all so some others could take over. =)

God, I'd love to. They were the dominant team in my fed for years before the jump to Centra.
But "I'd love to" doesn't mean it's the best idea for the CPC. They'd be a little long in the tooth now, and I've got other ideas for the CPC that I want to use the card space for. Don't know that I'd put someone else under the hoods, either. But I'd definitely welcome them showing back up in the GWF!
You could always use the CPC's "short-term contract" deal and have them reunite for a few special attraction matches and use their old cards. I'd pay to see them tackle Darwin's Legacy!

Again, (man, do I really have to say this?) why do you want guys to keep coming back? Let Mark develop HIS guys! If you like the old guys so much, then just play the 1st 5 sets that Tom ever released and you'll be fine. Having other guys be under the mask would just be silly. The CPC should not be the land of the GWF castoffs.
In wrestling, you can't ever stay married to a concept or specific wrestlers. Let the past be the past my friend. Time to move on.

Well Gatekeeper, we all have our favorites. And even though we might realize that bringing them back in either fed wouldnt be the best thing, we still "mark out" for them. Simply because they are our favorites.

Simply because they are our favorites. Yes, I realize that they are your favorites, but sometimes what makes them great is the fact taht they don't stay around forever. That's my point. It's like Barry Sanders. He's the greatest running back ever, but when his time was done, it was done and I wanted him to come back SO bad. All I'm sayin' is that give the new guys a chance to 'become your new favorites.' |

While there may not be a new Thantos card (but who knows) I think he will be referred to in storylines in the future. It's hard to predict how the evil GameMaster will respond to his painful ouster in 2120...we'll have to see.
As for the Ninja Assassins...you never know. Ninja guys are cool and fit the game very nicely. It may be new guys with similar abilities though not necessarily the same name.
