Hey Tom, just read about your kid and friends painting up their faces like Gladiators. I hope you got some pics of that and share them on the site. Pretty cool that they do that in honor of the game.
On a side note...just make sure one of 'em don't date an Elaine Benes type...she hates face painters. Oh make sure they don't run in front of a care with a priest from Italy yelling, "We're the devils....yaaaaaaaaaa...the devils!!!"

I love that the guys express themselves like this...let's just hope that their Gladiator aspiration go no further than the face paint...Dominating the Galaxy could be a rough choice of occupation!

and is Tom really Thakur? of course he is... and the COTG is one big psychological experiment that we are part of...in the Control Group! We get our "bell" rung every six months or so and start salivating!

I love painting my face!!! I just makes me feel like I have Aethran power. My school just recently had spirit week and for blue and gold(my school colors) day, I wore blue and gold Thunder face paint. I look forward to Galacticon every year when I get to sport the Yellow and Black Thunder face paint.
And I do have a home made set of shoulder pads made from football shoulder protectors tin foil and duck tape. I wore them at G- Con but only for a short bit. They are kind of pathetic looking right now since they are getting crushed in the bottom of my closet.

DARN! Pete figured it out! Actually...it was just a sneaking suspicion, but now that you have confirmed it...at least i feel better about all the experimentation that i have been undergoing over the past 18+ years!!! I guess all those psychology classes i paid for in college have paid off!
