I was in Temecula (Ca.) recently, and besides the casino there, there's also a Napa-esque wine country. One of the properties in the city is Filsinger Winery.
Tom, do you have any connection to the Filsingers who own the vineyard?

No connection, I haven't branched out that much...yet. A relative sent us a bottle of the Filsinger Vineyards wine and we put it on display in our house. When I'm in a nefarious mood I'll show the bottle to guests and say there's a vineyard in our backyard....way back near the woods. Hopefully they won't look too closely at the label. Thanks for asking!

If you ever venture out this way, try taking a tour of the vineyard. Although, out of the dozen or so wineries in Temecula, Filsinger keeps the most restrictive guest hours. They are open Fridays and weekends only, and only for a brief period of time.
