I remember there was also Mike Von Erich and David Von Erich. Also, it was Kerry who was the Texas Tornado rather than Kevin.

So if I got this right, there was Kevin (aka Texas Tornado), Kerry, Fritz...dang, who were the others? The Von Erich's were Fritz,Kerry(Texas Tornado),Kevin, David,Mike+Chris and then there is Waldo and Lance Von Erich(No Relations) as well

I am willing to bet that just about everyone would love to see the Von Erichs in LOW. They would be a perfect fit. Could someone tell a little bit more about the "fake" Von Erichs. Did they die as well?

I think a good question would be would we have all the Von Erich's enter LOW at once or a few at a time. Sure they could fill a set easily but would that be too many at once? I would like to see Kerry, Kevin, and Fritz first and then bring in the rest later.

I'd like to see Fritz and Kerry enter the LOW first, and maybe begin a feud with the Johnny and Greg Valentine. Then maybe in a year or two, add David, Kevin, and the rest of the Von Erich dynasty.

I would say bring them in a bit at a time. You don't want to flood the LOW roster with Von Erichs. Texas Tornado would be the coolest one, I remember him kind of "bringing back" the whole claw hold thing. I still remember his match against the great Curt Henning at SummerSlam-1990, when he won the IC title.
If done right, the Von Erichs could become a dynasty in the LOW much the same way the Aethrans were a dynasty in the GWF.

I agree. They would need to be brought in slowly.

Does anyone know how Waldo & Lance got the honor of being fake Von Erichs? Were they close friends with the real Von Erichs?

I dont know about Waldo, but Lance looked like similar to the Von Erichs and business was bad, so they drug out a guy and made him a "cousin".

If I remember correctly, Lance Von Erich wrestled in the old Pacific Northwest territory under the name Ricky Vaughn. I'm not sure that business was bad, so much as it was the Von Erichs were outnumbered in a feud with the Freebirds and/or Devestation, Inc. It's been a lot of years, so I could be wrong.

Not to nitpick... but if all you guys saw of Kerry Von Erich was his stint as Texas Tornado, you really have never seen how good he was. Texas Tornado came about after Kerry had a terrible motorcycle accident and had his foot amputated. At that time the only things he could really do was that discuss punch and the claw. Get you some World Class, AWA, or NWA tapes and see how he wrestled before the motorcycle accident... no comparison.
I also have to agree with a previous poster who said that David should be the first of the boys brought in. I've never actually seen David wrestle, but from all I've heard and read... David was the most talented of all the boys and was the most marketable to the mainstream. Kerry was good though before his Texas Tornado days. Kevin was also good but has always kept a lower profile.

As to signing rights, I would think Kevin could sign for his father and himself, since his mother is dead. If any of his brothers were married at the time of their deaths, their wives would have the rights to sign for them. If they weren't married but have children who are 18 or older, the children would have the right to sign. Unless, of course, the boys specifically gave signing rights to someone else. If no wife or children or other assignee, then Kevin would probably have the rights as the only living relative.
Is this confusing enough? Texas law may say something totally different.

Um, honestly would there be any reason to have ALL of the Von Erichs in a set??? The only worthwhile ones to have in my opinion would be David, Kerry, and Kevin.

I'd add Fritz to that (former AWA World Champ and an influential promoter), along with Kerry, Kevin and David. I can see you not adding Mike, Chris & Lance.

Eventually I would think we would want all of them. It would be stupid to have them all at once. What would you do with them?

You have to have Fritz in there for sure! I think I would stagger them within the sets. So release a couple in one set and then a couple others in another. I would like to see them all at some point but at the beginning I would like to see Fritz, Kevin and Kerry.
