Anyway, last night's opening went pretty well. Decent-sized crowd for the space (and for a Thursday). Some dropped lines here and there but we all covered pretty well for those who had brain farts. The write-up is in the paper this morning, but as of yet it's not on the web. Once it's there I'll post it. (And as a teaser, just know that in it my character is described as "all-American"!) Congrats on the reviews, sounds like they were mostly positive. Can't wait to read it.

Well, I'm not sure they're gonna post the review now. The only thing that's in there from that day's entertainment section is what was on the front page of it. So if nothing else, I can at least retype some of the relevant parts when I get a chance. Last night's (2/15) show went very well. No major missed lines or anything, although it was a smaller crowd. My wife and two friends were in the audience, though, so we're over that hill now! I got a playful glare from her when I came off the stage after curtain call, but she got a big hug and kiss from me, so it was all good. I also introduced her to my co-star, who told her, "I'm so sorry!" But we all know it's just for fun on stage. Now tonight, I get to meet the husband. Pray for me.

Just back from the show. Letting everyone know he didn't, repeat didn't kill me. But then again, he didn't talk to me much, either...

A round of applause for Mark being able to make out with another man's wife in front of him and not getting killed for it! Yay!

Actually, I just came back from a post-show get-together at our director's house, and he was there with his wife. Got to talk with him some, so I think I'm out of any potential woods I might have been in with him. But yeah, now that I think about it, you're right, Chewey. How many people here can say they fooled around with another man's wife and not only didn't get hurt, but got applauded? Damn, I'm good.

Well, the run is over, the set is torn down, and all we have is a DVD of memories (which I have yet to see). And for the last show today, my co-star's 8-year-old son came to see. I wish I'd gotten a chance to talk to him afterward to let him know I'm not a bad guy kissing his mom, but he and dad were gone before I could. Oh, well. Now I'll just have to wait and see what the next show I'm in will bring. Until then, I'll have to content myself with the Zone of Lawlessness and you mouth-breathers out there.
