Part of my other nerdly duties, besides playing COTG, is being a toy nerd. I posted something about the new HB figures from McFarlene, but also am an avid Marvel collector (with a little Wrestling and Justice League/DC Animated thrown in)
Since there's not really a thread for this, who else out there is a toy collector? I visit a few sites for updates, so I'd love if anyone ever gets good Marvel toy news or anything to post it up here.
Maybe Chris can make a thread for this in addition since we have many other nerd topics... ;D

Oh I am a huge toy collector, I have had to slow down as I really don't have the room but I have most of the NECA 18' series. Also have quite a few of the Sideshow Toys 12" figures. I too am a freak with figures especially if they are horror related.

i too am a toy nerd... i collect mostly super hero stuff, but i get a lot of the wwe legends line as well.
I went to comic con in san diego this past summer and was able to get my hands on some of the new street fighter figures. What i thought was cool is that when standing next to my marvel legends figures, they are more or less in scale...so now i can have Capcom v. Marvel .... awesome!
I dont get all th figs in a particular line, just the ones i want. I am working on my Justice league and The Batman collections right now.

I've been a toy collector for years, and I spent a nearly a decade working (on and off) for K.B. Toys.
I have so much stuff that my "office" and coat closet double as toy storage areas.
I have everything from Superpowers, Secret Wars, Silverhawks, Crystar, Masters of the Universe and Robotix to WWE Legends, the very rare OVERPOWER collection (Marvel toys based off the old card game- which I also have) and Star Wars. You name it, it's in there.

I am a very big action figure collector, mostly Star Wars but also some wrestling, super-hero, sports stars, and any sci-fi related toys.
I have so many toys that most of them are in boxes. I have now decided that I will only buy toys that I am going to put on display and enjoy. The collection does me no good just sitting in boxes.

I'm going to start yacking on this toy thread more so Chris will put up a thread!
So just curious, for any Marvel collectors, what do you think about Toy Biz losing Marvel line to Hasbro?
I know they have some great Marvel Legend figures on the way and I really hate to lose any of the lines.
Plus, they have an interesting line coming up: a 4 pack Marvel Monsters that looks interesting.
But here's hoping to have some X3 toys on the shelf this summer. I think we need Beast, Angel, Juggernaut and the gang!!!
