My favourite supervillian in Deathstroke. Read Identity Crisis no#3. He even took out Colossus and snuck up on Wolverine in the comics. He also took out Hal Jordan, Aquaman and the Flash in an issue of Justice League. Superman nabbed him though. My second would be Joel Schumacher. He did more damage to Batman then all his enemies combined. Now ,mike, I am wondering: How did Deathstroke, a DC character beat up on Colossus and Wolverine, two dudes from Marvel? Or was the one of those silly crossovers?

Yeah it was one of those silly crossovers. X-men vs Teen Titans. This happen in the mid to late 80's and the story was pretty good from what I remember. That's why Deathstroke is so badass he beats up on guys in other universes.

Deathstroke is 4 for 5 or so against batman- that is good enough for me

Lobo is just as much or more of a villain than anybody. He once blew up the entire San Diego Convention Center during con day because he couldn't find a copy of the "Death of Superman" issue. Heroes don't do that

I mean there are so many great super villians, like the only reason I ever watched Star Wars growing up was b/c of Vader. I thought he was so cool and awesome. Plus he chopped off his own son's hand. How awesome is that?

Lobo is one of those crossover heroes/villians. He was a member of the Justice League and LEGION. Then again he does kill a LOT of people, sometimes for fun. I did pick up his action figure that comes with a steel chain and hook.

Lobo does have honor and I think he was a member of Legion because Dox tricked him into it, manipulating that honor. Didn't know he was part of the JLA though. He kicked Superman's butt while drunk and killed Santa Claus. Not sure if you can attone for those sins. He's so bad even Etrigan doesn't want him. He did like space dolphins though.

the Bo got into a fight with Guy Gardner and suffered amnesia from the fight. He joind then from issed 14-18 somewhere in there. The early 90's series. And just to defend my man Superman. When Superman was taken over by Eclipse, that's was a bad guy. It took almost every hero in the DC universe to stop him and he leveled Lobo in 1 punch. It was the man of steel unleashed.

Yeah, if you can level Lobo with one punch (and I don't mean the Wolverine fiasco) you've got one powerful character.

The baddest of the bad. The only one who could bring together the five gems and wear the Infinity Gauntlet. He killed half the Universe with a thought and punked the entire Marvel Universe including Galactus and several other cosmic beings at once.

He's the one that killed Teen Titans ( literally knocked a few heads off ) and a lot of the DC Universe not Black Atom. Super Boy Prime is an amazing villain.

Superboy Prime is another good one that believes what he's doing is right. Black Adam punched the heads off of Titans in 52/World War III the same way Superboy Prime did in Infinite Crisis. Poor Titans.

I think the Titans are just becoming a team of red shirt star trek extras the way the DCU villians have been kicking their collective asses.

I think that I would definitely have to go with the Joker...though Magneto, Thanos, and Carnage are definitely close runner ups.
There's just something about a friggin psychotic clown that totally freaks me out and amazes me at the same time. Also, considering the fact that Batman is one of my favorite heroes (or anti heroes, depending on who you talk to), his arch nemesis would have to rank at the top.
The graphic novel The Killing Joke is great in showing the complexity of the relationship between Batman and the Joker. Just great stuff.
Peace.

He's definately moving up the list with what he and his followers are doing to the DC universe. When you have Superman Prime, *new* Parallax Kyle Rayner ION ) , Cyborg Superman and THE ANTI-MONOTER on your team I'd say you're a little strong.
